Property Description for 95 Lexington Ave, 1-A

Space, style and sophistication come together in this truly stunning 916 sqft condo LOFT with separate BEDROOM in Clinton Hill. This coveted loft has exposed brick, hardwood floors, soaring ceiling height, exposed ducts, arched windows, a depth of 45, and its own street entrance (as well as lobby entrance) are just some of the many features that make this true LOFT a unique space. The kitchen has undergone a complete renovation that not only adds separation but storage to the condo as well. Design by architect Brandon Dean, founder of Brooklyn based Dean Works, in collaboration with the homeowners that run GLAM design studio. Custom cabinetry is meticulously designed from birch plywood that compliments the white Breccia Capriaia marble backsplash and shelving. In perfect contrast, the island waterfall counter top is a dark soapstone that provides for a more durable surface than marble and additional storage. The appliance package features a Bertazzoni stove top and built in oven as well as a custom built in refrigerator to continue with the seamless design of the cabinetry and in to the bedroom entrance. The bedrooms design features frosted glass sliding doors to allow for light while maximizing space and maintaining the integrity of the lofts design and concept. The LOFT offers 1.5 bathrooms, finished in tile and complete with stone flooring and deep soaking tub, the powder room is currently built out as a walk-in closet. South facing with oversized windows, the apartment is drenched with sunlight and is accented with a brick wall. This condo is complete with central HVAC and a washer/dryer within the unit. The result is a stunning and comfortable, inviting loft space that took no sacrifice on quality or style.95 Lexington Avenue is a boutique LOFT fully established condominium complete with storage, an elevator and a lovely common roof deck. Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
