Welcome to the largest co-op available in London Terrace Towers! Three units were combined to create this 3,000 square foot corner luxury residence. The home consists of four bedrooms and four bathrooms; and features original prewar details, an open layout, 9.5-foot ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace. There are 18 windows that surround the home, letting in an abundance of natural light and giving a bird’s eye view of Manhattan, including the world iconic Empire State Building. Walk through the formal entry way into your grand entertaining space that’s comprised of a 23-foot-long living room, a separate dining room and an open kitchen. The living room has a fireplace that adds a cozy feeling to the space, and the kitchen features marble countertops and backsplash, an eat-in peninsula and a host of Viking and subzero appliances. The master suite, which is accessed through a hidden wood-paneled door, sits at the far end of the home for added comfort and privacy. It’s comprised of two rooms — the master bedroom with a large walk-in closet and library/media room that can be used as an additional bedroom. Adjacent to the master bedroom is an en-suite bathroom with marble tiles, a walk-in shower and a separate soaking tub. The library/media room also has its own walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with dual-vanity sinks and a double steam shower. On the opposite side of the home are two additional bedrooms that each have their own closets and bathrooms as well. London Terrace Towers was once the largest apartment complex in the world. It’s comprised of four red-brick buildings with private entrances and luxury amenities. The amenities include a dedicated 24-hour doorman, a residence manager, porters, a 150-foot indoor pool, steam room and sauna, fitness center, bicycle storage, parking garage and a landscaped rooftop terrace that features breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. The building is located just one block away from the High Line and is surrounded by some of the city’s most highly rated restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The building is also in close proximity to major public transportation lines. Pets and pied-a-terre allowed. All utilities (electric, gas, heat/ac, hot water) and most amenities (heated indoor half Olympic-sized pool, steam rooms, saunas and roof deck) are ALL INCLUDED in the monthly maintenance fee.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
