This legal 2 family townhouse has been thoughtfully reconstructed and designed with character throughout. The beautiful facade makes a striking front on the blocks tree lined street with unique details that await just beyond the beautifully restored entry doors.

Gleaming hardwood floors with a decorative inlay throughout greet you on the parlor floor along with 11-foot ceilings. The kitchen, undoubtedly the main focal point of the home, features custom cabinetry, Smeg Range, expansive soapstone-island, counter space and windows throughout with the garden serving as its backdrop. The expansive parlor floor features a light-filled living room, separate dining room, eat-in kitchen with garden access and powder room.

Every detail of this stunning renovation was designed to modernize the interior while maintaining the original charm.

Up one level off of the original wooden staircase awaits 3 additional bedrooms plus a home office hosting 14 foot ceilings plus two full baths. Custom skylights - one in the library, one over the staircase and the third in the full bath flood this level with natural light. The Master Bedroom overlooks the spacious backyard, with an original brick fireplace, large walk in closet, and beautiful en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also accommodates a king-sized bed and the third a queen.

The garden level features a two-bedroom, 1 bath rental which would offset approximately $2,000 of your monthly mortgage. The owners duplex also has access to the full cellar from the garden level.

Additional features of the home include bespoke doors and hardware and central a/c & heating throughout. This splendid townhouse is set on one of the most picturesque blocks in all of Bay Ridge steps from the R at Bay Ridge Ave Station and 3rd Avenue featuring shops, restaurants and cafes galore and walking distance to the 69th Street pier and the ferry . Luxury living and quintessential Bay Ridge living collide in this immaculately designed and executed townhouse.

Bay Ridge | Brooklyn

Lush front yards and trimmed hedges are pretty common in Bay Ridge.

Quick Profile

Bay Ridge is an old-world neighborhood neatly tucked into the southwest corner of Brooklyn within the shadows of the Verrazano Bridge. The neighborhood is encircled by the Belt Parkway along the shore line and the Gowanus Expressway inland.

Bay Ridge, long known for its generational pull, has historically been home to a diverse number of ethnic groups. While the area is flush with people of Irish, Italian and Greek descent, these ethnic communities have been joined by larger numbers of new groups, including people with Russian, Polish, Asian and Middle Eastern backgrounds. The Arab American community today in Bay Ridge represents the largest concentration of Arab Americans in New York City.

For many years, Bay Ridge and its waterside location, would attract the affluent. But most of the mansions that once lined Shore Road are long gone and have been replaced by six-story apartment buildings.

Aside from the low-rise apartment buildings, the neighborhood pretty much consists of one and two-family homes. Lush front yards and trimmed hedges are pretty common here.

Current zoning and limitations on building heights restrict any out of the norm development. At present, the future beholds small development on some of the commercial strips and teardowns of older homes for smaller residential projects.
