Property Description for 15 East 26th Street, 14-D

Chic, sophisticated and elegant, apartment 14D at 15 Madison Square Park is a rarely available loft-like 1- bedroom, 2-bath home that overlooks and is ideally located just moments away from Manhattan's iconic Madison Square Park with views of the Clock Tower and The Met Life Tower. Incredible natural light from east and south exposures through deep-set windows illuminate the great room and master suite. Enter through the foyer to a living / dining room space and open concept kitchen customized by Italian designer Arclinea with white marble, quartz counters, and premium appliances including a Viking range, a Miele convection oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, as well as an under-counter wine refrigerator. Brazilian walnut floors and nearly 12' ceilings set this property apart from the rest. The oversized master suite includes a fully outfitted walk-in dressing area and custom closet. Both spa-like full bathrooms feature custom marble and Ann Sacks tiling; the master bath offers a soaking tub as well as an enclosed walk-in shower. Even more, the home has an in-unit washer/dryer and will be delivered with private storage as well as a wine locker within the building's temperature controlled cellar. Common charges include assessments of $44.58 per month. 15 Madison Square Park is a neoclassical building built in 1912 and converted into a condominium in 2008. It offers a full time door staff, landscaped terrace, 2-story fitness center, playroom and bike room.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
