Property Description for 304 Sackett Street, 2

A Spectacular One Bedroom top floor with all sorts of goodies : A big private DECK , your own landing for bike storage and 8 windows with triple exposures ! This is the first time I have listed this gem in many years ; its quite a North Carroll Gardens gem so good for subway access too! Approximately 800sqft this corner space draws great natural light everywhere with a generously sized front bedroom sporting 4 windows alone . You will also get terrific views street and city as nice as any luxury building but at a fraction of the cost ! The private landing is a treat so bikes very welcome. Walk out to this very special outdoor space with a picnic table the owner has left for the new renter. Parquet wood floors were just redone in most of the apartment and the owner is going to put down a new kitchen floor and its fashion forward with a great look. The rental has excellent closets and some additional indoor storage or convert to an extra closet inside the apartment . The apartment has a solid ,contemporary open kitchen in excellent shape with TWO WINDOWS. It's a good cooking space as the previous tenants confided they'd enjoyed with lots of cabinetry and plenty of room for a sit down table . You will see a table in the kitchen area which can stay or go. I think its a fun piece of furniture but up to you. The rental has a very solid bathroom with white and black tile and the owner is going to purchase a new vanity . I have been eying this rental for more than a few years and am excited to finally put it on the market . Please have excellent references. Pets are case by case if the animal is trained and not too substantial in size. (1) . Owner pays the heat and hot water , another nice perk and you cannot beat the location with the UNION market 2 blocks away and the Caputo bakery across the street . The rental is a short , actually very short distance to multiple subway connections . The park is only 2 short blocks as well . Visits will be this weekend .Renter pays the commission . The rental is very unique and not many of these around and i see lots of rentals. If you are looking for a specific apt feature and its not on the listing its not available so kindly read the description as its accurate . This is a smoke-free dwelling.

Carroll Gardens | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Filled with charming churches, whose ringing bells punctuate the days, together with quirky boutiques, trendy bars, Italian bakeries, and restaurants featuring a wide variety of cuisines, with an emphasis on traditional Italian cuisine, Carroll Gardens maintains a sense of Old World charm. While most of the restaurants are small and family-owned, there are Michelin-rated restaurants for those special date nights. Abundant coffee shops and bakeries ensure you are never far from a tasty pastry and your next cup of joe.

Unlike many neighborhoods, Carroll Gardens has an impressive array of grocery stores, including the popular Court Street Grocers. While Carroll Park is the main green space, located in the heart of the neighborhood, there are other parks, such as the Brooklyn Bridge Park, Cadman Plaza Park, and Van Voorhees Playground, all within easy walking distance.

Court and Smith Streets are the main commercial areas, packed with bakeries, intimate bars, unique boutiques, and small mom-and-pop Italian cafes, many with sidewalk or patio seating. Court Street has most of the older businesses that have operated for generations in the same location. Smith Street has more trendy establishments.

If you are looking for a neighborhood that is quieter and less congested, Carroll Gardens might be a perfect fit. It is a great place to raise a family, with good schools and safe streets. It is the type of place where you will know the names of your neighbors and the owners of the shops and restaurants you frequent. It is a great walkable neighborhood for retirees, and an easy commute into the city for young professionals. The streets are shady and tree-lined, and many feature brownstones and townhouses that sport sizeable front gardens, adding to the natural charm of the neighborhood.
