VIDEO TOUR AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST

Welcome to 185 Putnam Avenue. This unique, 4-unit boutique, brick Townhouse conversion is located in Bedford Stuyvesant with a short proximity to both Clinton Hill and the Stuyvesant Heights Historic District. 185 Putnam Avenue offers a well-appointed collection of floor through, two-bedroom (2BR) two bath (2Bath) residences with each home encompassing its own dedicated outdoor space. Storage available for select units in the cellar.

The developer did not miss a beat when converting the property to condos. All four residences were thoughtfully designed and include 9 foot ceilings, 5-inch wide plan oak flooring, solid doors with custom grooves and Emtex handles. The living room is equipped with a high-end Daikin HVAC heating and cooling system with linear air vents. Each bedroom contains a wall hung split system.

The grandeur of the kitchens is attributed to the spacious, open concept; and does not disappoint. The stunning Calcutta gold marble countertops and backsplash are complimented with brass fixtures. The green and gold hues in the marble are perfectly paired with matte, cream colored cabinetry and matte black hardware. The kitchen is U-shaped for convenience and features a 30" wolf cook top, 36" Bosch Refrigerator, Bosch oven, Bosch hood and Uline wine Refrigerator.

Both bedrooms are efficient and cozy. The bathrooms are outfitted with Toto wall hung toilets and Mezzo wall mounted Vanities. All plumbing faucets and accessories are made by Delta and finished in Champagne Bronze. The Master bathroom is equipped with heated floors, an oversized shower and a double sink vanity.

185 Putnam Avenue is conveniently located a block away from John Hancock playground. Located just 4 short blocks to the A/C trains. The property is surrounded by the classic serenity of Brownstone Brooklyn and the energy of a culturally diverse community with superb dining, craft cocktail joints, homemade marketplaces, and destination hangouts. Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
