Property Description for 465 Park Ave, 6-A

'Hollywood Lux meets Manhattan Style' -- Apartment 6A is a superlative version of The Ritz Tower's signature 'A' apartment line -- perfect for gracious residential living or sophisticated Manhattan pied-a-terre!

The apartment is in Mint Condition and features an enormous Living-dining room combination (31Ft!), two large-scale masters with en suite bathrooms, high ceilings, a lovely front hall foyer, fully equipped & custom detailed kitchen, large and commodious walk-in closets, and abundant additional storage space.

No expense has been spared in a complete ('down to the studs') custom renovation including new windows, new herringbone floors, central AC, crown moldings, custom mill and stone work, custom kitchen, highest-end appliances - fixtures & finishes, two large spa-type marble baths with intricate stone work, custom (recessed) lighting and sound system (Creston) throughout! The apartment has a washer/dryer.

The apartment is utterly tranquil and imbued with the warm glow of Western sun, with wonderful city views west over Park Avenue & across East 57th Street & mid-town Manhattan.

Built in 1925 at the apogee of the Jazz Age, refined and opulent, the Ritz Tower introduced the 'modern era' with (at the time) the tallest residential structure in the world. The 'Ritz' continues to thrive in the preeminent tier of New York's most distinguished & luxurious cooperatives. Located in what is considered Manhattan's most desirable location, the axis of Park Avenue & East 57th Street ('Top of Millionaire's Row'), the building is proximate to Manhattan's most fashionable shops, restaurants and boutiques, as well as all forms of transportation.

The Ritz Tower is impeccably managed & maintained, offering the absolute epitome of amenity & every possible hotel-inspired service: including 24 hour concierge (if you need a cash advance or light bulb changed in the middle of night, call the front desk!), room & restaurant service (lunch and dinner prepared by 'award winning' Chef de Cuisine), manned elevators, housekeeping, valet & laundry service, state-of-the-art fitness center, conference room.

Shareholders may rent their apartments for a minimum of one year (subject to a small service fee on monthly rent).

The building has global appeal & a glamorous and storied past -- in years gone by, from the 1920's to the present, it has been the primary or second home to world celebrities of every renown - from finance and politics to European nobility, including a particularly large number of notable show business luminaries from New York and the 'old Hollywood' of the 40's, 50's and 60's.

Corporate, LLC and trust purchasers permitted. Utilities included in monthly maintenance fee. Dogs allowed with board approval!

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
