Property Description for 3299 Cambridge Ave, 5-F

Escape Manhattan for a beautiful apartment that checks every box on your wish list, including the price. Enjoy more space, room for an office and a balcony overlooking a tree-lined street, all in move-in condition, and close to the shops, services and transportation options to head downtown and points north. Trafalgar House is known for generous room size, which is apparent on the floorplan and what makes 5F so desirable. That is really an 8ft. deep closet adjacent to the kitchen, and while you may not know that it is 33ft from the door to the windows, you will realize it is extremely spacious. So are the 2 bedrooms, the master with an en suite bathroom with a shower, as well as the eat-in kitchen. Even the charming private balcony is deeper than average, 10ft. deep. Whatever may come your way, work or play, you will have space to stretch out in after a busy day and a home that is a natural for hosting friends. Have you been bit by the sourdough bread baking bug? Here is the perfect kitchen, with lots of storage space, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, including a brand new stove. Riverdale is not just a unique combination of city and suburb, it is very much NYC, with the wonderful parks, libraries and transportation options NYC folks depend on. It's not just a community of contemporary services we've come to rely on, it is the setting for Revolutionary War events that took place and buildings that still exist, including the museum house at Van Cotlandt Park. You will find a champion golf course, horseback riding and an Olympic pool there too. Can't imagine moving anywhere far from what New Yorkers crave? No need. This is NYC. This is Riverdale. Trafalgar House features a part-time door attendant, live-in super, laundry room, available storage, free bike storage, indoor garage (wait listed) and a large outdoor playground. Gas included in maintenance. Call to arrange a private viewing. Rest assured we will be following Covid-19 Best Practices. 24 Hour notice please.

Riverdale | Bronx

Quick Profile

Searching for a little bit of country that can be your home base, while still being able to take advantage of everything that NYC offers? Do you want a slower pace of living, focused on family and the great outdoors? Riverdale may be your perfect choice. Only about ten miles north of Midtown, Riverdale’s bucolic paradise feels like you have left the city entirely. You would never guess that you are still within the confines of the Bronx.

Riverdale is primarily residential with a substantial number of single-family homes and corridors of high-rise apartments. There are many large parks, and they play a major role in the lives of the residents, as they are a primary source of entertainment. Clean, safe streets make Riverdale a great place to walk or cycle. There are trees everywhere, and the air is fresh and invigorating. It is a great place to raise a family, but more and more singles and young professionals are moving into Riverdale, in search of larger, less expensive apartments, and to enjoy the parks and the remarkable views of the Hudson River and Manhattan.

While the grid layout of the rest of the city makes it easy to find your way from here to there, Riverdale chose to forego that structure, choosing instead to let the verdant streets twist and wind their way around natural obstacles in designs by Frederick Law Olmsted, of Central Park fame. Some streets are divided, with traffic in one direction being at an entirely different level than traffic headed the opposite way on the same street. This quirkiness adds a certain charm to this neighborhood.
