Property Description for 73 Worth Street, 3-F

A superbly renovated 2 bedroom & 3 bath loft condominium in the heart of Tribeca at 73 Worth Street. Upon entering this exceptional residence by a private key-locked elevator you are met with an expansive living space with 12’ ceilings and over-sized windows with southern exposures offering quintessential Tribeca views.
The cleverly designed layout offers separate living and bedroom wings. The great room expands 30 feet and provides the open floor plan everyone is looking for with a large separate dining area and an open kitchen while remaining true to the building’s rich history.
Only the best materials and finishes were sourced for this recently completed renovation. The suburban-sized kitchen boasts a massive island covered in solid slab leathered quartz. The entire kitchen is lined with custom, solid wood cabinetry, artistic tile backsplash and gorgeous brass fixtures. The Gaggenau designer-series appliances top off this mint-condition chef’s kitchen which also boasts a vented hood over the cooktop.
An oversized hallway separates the entertaining quarters from the bedrooms creating a great sense of privacy.
The generously proportioned master bedroom is a true oasis from the city with a fantastic dressing room complete with custom-built solid wood closets and a large spa bathroom featuring honed Crema Marfil marble floors and walls, dual vanities with polished Crema Marfil countertops & Kohler sinks, a seamless glass shower with multi-jet shower head, and 6' Zuma soaking tub.
The second bedroom has a renovated en-suite bathroom and access to the private north facing terrace which spans the width of this side of the loft.
There is an additional oversized bonus room which could be used as a den, media room, library or a flex bedroom. This room is thoughtfully situated next to the renovated third full bathroom and separate laundry area.
Other notable features include brand new wide plank solid oak flooring throughout, custom sliding and pocket doors absorbing every inch of unused space, a brand new central a/c system, custom recessed lighting and light fixtures, and a washer/dryer. A separate storage room also transfers with the apartment. This residence is true perfection.
73 Worth Street offers the best of downtown loft living. The 1860 limestone and cast iron was converted in 2005 to a full-service 30 resident condominium. The building is one of the most sought-after condos in Tribeca where residents enjoy a 24-hour doorman, a full-time superintendant and a gorgeous lobby which was recently renovated by renowned designer Paris Forino. The central location is steps from world-class dining, shopping, parks and public transportation.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
