Property Description for 331 East 8th Street, 2-FLR

The Good Life

Gorgeous sunny 1377sf 2 bed 2 bath condo right off Tompkins Square Park. This newly renovated residence offers great bones, top-of-the-line appliances, and sophisticated design details throughout. From the key-locked elevator opening into the grand living area and open kitchen to the wide gallery hallway leading to the resting areas, to the spa bathrooms, and beautiful white oak hardwood floors, this home offers the perfect escape from it all in a relaxed neighborhood and very quiet street.

The opulent living area is made for easy entertainment but can easily accommodate space for a home office or a little library or even a guest bedroom. If the dining area is too formal, the remodeled chef's kitchen offers a large natural stone island to treat family and friends. The two bedrooms are large enough for king size beds and both look out on lush back gardens and the famous Plaza Cultural. The master ensuite bathroom offers a modern design with standing shower in sea-blue tiles while the second bathroom offers a deep soaking tub. Finally, you will enjoy a stacked washer/dryer, ample closets throughout, and a storage space in the basement.

Easy access to lively Tompkins Square Park with lots of areas for safe distancing and birdwatching, and close to Astor Place, F-6-R subway lines, and M8 or M14A-D bus lines. Of course, the great variety of restaurants, lounges, and cafes of the East Village are there to host you al fresco.

Offered furnished ($7,250) or unfurnished ($6,950)

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
