Property Description for 30 Bayard Street, 10-C

Parkfront living in Williamsburg with private parking.

10C at 30 Bayard is a true needle in the haystack amongst a sea of cookie cutter inventory in Williamsburg. Spanning 810 square feet, this loft-style 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath with keyed elevator access and 40 linear feet of south facing, floor-to-ceiling windows offers stunning natural light all day. Defining features of this bespoke residence include 10-foot ceilings, gut renovated interiors including a chef's kitchen and pristine bathrooms, and the largest one bedroom layout in the building.

Enter the home through a key locked elevator into a large foyer with space for an entry bench, large scale art and a double coat closet. The open concept living and dining rooms are flanked by an alcove ideal for a home office and the stunning renovated kitchen featuring a large island with undermount deep steel sink, caesarstone countertops, navy blue cabinetry, Heath subway tile backsplash, exposed walnut shelving and a state of the art appliance package including a 4-burner Wolf range, Sub Zero refrigerator, and Asko dishwasher. The living room can be configured in a variety of ways with enough space for dining, seating and a large alcove workspace. Wrapped in floor to ceiling windows, this south facing home is always bright and offers breathtaking views.

The 15.5 × 12 master bedroom is oversized and can easily accommodate a king size bed, a home office and additional furniture. There is a large walk-in closet, high ceilings and a newly renovated four-fixture master bath with a Zuma deep soaking tub, custom walnut vanity, a walk in shower, slate gray tiles, plenty of storage and stylish sconces. 10C also features a renovated powder room with cement mosaic tiles and a Duravit pedestal sink, in-unit washer/dryer and a deeded parking spot at an extra cost.

Conveniently located near both the G & L trains, 30 Bayard is one of few park front condominiums in Williamsburg offering a newly gut renovated lobby, part-time doorman seven days a week, a tax abatement, common roof deck with BBQ, cold storage, a newly upgraded gym and private parking.

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
