Property Description for 429 Kent Ave, 737

737 at the Oosten is a huge breath of fresh air when we're talking about an apartment you can call home. The three best things that jump out are the open layout the size of the bedroom and the endless amount of closet space. Bring your king bed, all yours and your partners clothes and heck, bring your shoe addiction with you... you'll have room for a shoe closet too! Walk into the bring open layout, with floor to ceiling south east facing windows. The large kitchen features a Smeg dishwasher, a five burner gas stove, full sized Liebherr refrigerator, extra-large sink and marble counter-tops (yes, there is tons of counter space!). In-unit Bosch washer/dryer so you can do your laundry with ease, & and an LG zoned central AC and heat. With a rainfall shower, double sink and sleek white marble, the bathroom has a true luxury feel. What takes this apartment to the next level? - The amenities The Oosten isn't where you sleep... It's where you live! Starting with the amenities floor, there's a huge lounge with a fantastic bar and a 60' screen tv perfect for getting together for games (or the bachelor?) or just going down to by yourself to hang and do some work with the buildings high speed Wi-Fi... (there's also a pool table) Walk past the lounge and you'll step into the 4200 sq ft wellness quarters: -Coffe & Juice Bar -Private Yoga Room -Two Temperature controlled saunas -Massage room -55 foot indoor pool with retractable walls that open so you can layout by the pool in summer -Private Training Center One level up we have the 13,860 sq ft landscaped courtyard. Then all the way up we have the rooftop getaway... This isn't just any roof, this is possibly the best roof in all of Brooklyn. With 360 degree views of Manhattan and Brooklyn there's also 6 grills with seating for 218 people, a reflection pool with lounge chairs and day beds (amazing for morning coffee and getting emails in while watching the sun go up). Well, if you're reading this and you've made it this far I don't 'have to tell you about the location... you know how amazing it is. As a resident in the building, I can attest how amazing it is to also live directly across the street from the South Williamsburg ferry stop. Once you start commuting by the ferry you'll never want to go back to the subway again! https://youtu.be/tMgAh3bKNOI

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
