Property Description for 163 President Street, 1

Just count the windows and i see your interest starting to build ! This giant two bedroom + Home Office is approximately 1350SQFT and has double exposures in both kitchen and master bedroom; the natural light is amazing ! Its a corner property with 12 windows. This chill location is special, its like a little village with just enough cafes but not saturated with pedestrian traffic. The energy is terrific and you'll get to know many of the store owners on a first name basis. You'll run into new friends and hopefully that gets everyone thru this pandemic as you'll take a little time to stand on a corner and talk and breathe. Lets go back to this absolutely stunning Octagon shaped MBR with 5 windows; yes its a real treat. The herringbone inlay is becoming scarcer every year . These parquet oak floors are beautiful and should be treasured. STORAGE :the rental has great storage right outside your rental and its only for this specific unit ! This is a tremendous perk ! The KITCHEN was renovated for the previous renters and its gorgeous ! It has nice scale and lots of cabinetry that will make your life easy. This is a terrific designer kitchen with white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and marble countertops. Two big thumbs up from me. The living space is grand ; its two rooms that may have been combined so large furniture will not be an issue and blends in nicely with your artwork. You' 'll find lot's of wall space so use it and create your own Michelangelo experience. What's not to love about this beautiful and unique Carroll Gardens treasure a short distance from the subway. The hallway steps are marble and its a real oldie but goodie 5 unit rental building that just oozes vintage character. Oh, did i forget to mention that the BATHROOM is also outstanding ! Look at the image and decide for your self. The Bathroom has a nice contemporary look with lovely fixtures and a big tub.. Pets; On approval a pet is OK .Please have excellent references .This apartment will " not" disappoint and will surely exceed your expectations.

Carroll Gardens | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Filled with charming churches, whose ringing bells punctuate the days, together with quirky boutiques, trendy bars, Italian bakeries, and restaurants featuring a wide variety of cuisines, with an emphasis on traditional Italian cuisine, Carroll Gardens maintains a sense of Old World charm. While most of the restaurants are small and family-owned, there are Michelin-rated restaurants for those special date nights. Abundant coffee shops and bakeries ensure you are never far from a tasty pastry and your next cup of joe.

Unlike many neighborhoods, Carroll Gardens has an impressive array of grocery stores, including the popular Court Street Grocers. While Carroll Park is the main green space, located in the heart of the neighborhood, there are other parks, such as the Brooklyn Bridge Park, Cadman Plaza Park, and Van Voorhees Playground, all within easy walking distance.

Court and Smith Streets are the main commercial areas, packed with bakeries, intimate bars, unique boutiques, and small mom-and-pop Italian cafes, many with sidewalk or patio seating. Court Street has most of the older businesses that have operated for generations in the same location. Smith Street has more trendy establishments.

If you are looking for a neighborhood that is quieter and less congested, Carroll Gardens might be a perfect fit. It is a great place to raise a family, with good schools and safe streets. It is the type of place where you will know the names of your neighbors and the owners of the shops and restaurants you frequent. It is a great walkable neighborhood for retirees, and an easy commute into the city for young professionals. The streets are shady and tree-lined, and many feature brownstones and townhouses that sport sizeable front gardens, adding to the natural charm of the neighborhood.
