Property Description for 136 West 75th Street, 2-AB

Fully Renovated, Pre-War, Half Floor Showstopper In Well-Run Building with NO UNDERLYING MORTGAGE
Better Than New Development: Big & Brand New w/Central AC & Washer/Dryer in Classic UWS Building
Stretch Out In Style: Room For All Of Your Growing Needs
Fully gutted and renovated back to its studs, this sprawling new home was skillfully designed and custom crafted from scratch: With an all new plumbing system, new electrical system, new walls, new wide-plank, solid Oak floors, new high ceilings, new bathrooms, new chef’s kitchen, new integrated audio-visual system, new 2-zone central AC system, and new everything throughout, this gorgeous showplace was completely redone from top to bottom and from side to side. The beautiful result is a stunning, refined, comfortable residence that lives large.
Here, on one of the Upper Westside’s most convenient, leafy blocks, equidistant from both Central and Riverside Parks, and close to every area cultural, dining, and shopping destination, this handsome head-turner has it all:
-Large and elegant, the open-plan living-dining rooms feature a Hearth Cabinet fireplace, and a 31-foot long run of oversized, floor-to-ceiling picture windows onto the treetops. These comfortable rooms are ideal for stretching out and entertaining.
-A windowed, designer, eat-in cook’s kitchen with ample Carrera marble counters, top-shelf appliances by Thermador and Bosch, five star fixtures, and handsome custom cabinetry — served perfectly by a fully outfitted, big food pantry, and a handsomely designed butler’s pantry/bar space.
-Four king-sized bedrooms — and a bonus fifth bedroom/den — built to serve all of your growing needs. The large master suite includes a pair of windows onto the treetops, exposed brick, a fully custom walk-in, California closet, a dressing area, and a windowed marble bath with a lovely herringbone heated floor. The other four bedrooms also have well-outfitted closets, and are served by two more windowed baths with heated floors.
If space is your goal, and top-shelf quality is a must, then this perfectly perched residence — in its well-served, with no underlying mortgage, pre-war building with wonderful, live-in super and bike/storage rooms — is the grand beauty for you. Welcome home.

Upper West Side | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Bracketed on its east and west borders by massive city parks, the Upper West Side (UWS) is known for its greenery, stately and elegant townhomes, safe streets and great schools, all of which make it a very desirable neighborhood for families. The UWS has maintained its community feeling, making it attractive to young professionals and retirees, both of whom want a sense of belonging in the place they call home.

Here you’ll find many apartment buildings, especially those along Central Park West. Historic architecture abounds, anchored by four luxury co-ops - the San Remo, Majestic, Century and Eldorado apartments - all of which have two towers on their interiors. They were built in the 1930s and their design was predicated on a 1929 building code that imposed a height limit on residences facing the street. There are also impressive row houses near Riverside Drive throughout the W 70 and 80 Streets. Above the 90s, you will find smaller buildings where walk-ups are very reasonably priced.

There are several world-class museums and venues dedicated to the performing arts. Plentiful dining can be found in the UWS. You will find everything from quaint Jewish delis serving up bagels and a schmear to sophisticated fine dining that has earned multiple Michelin stars, and everything you could possibly want in between. There is also abundant shopping and a vibrant nightlife.
