Through sliding pocket doors, enter a large walk in closet that can also be used as a dressing area. The closet has a wall of open shelving for shoes, sweaters, etc and there is alot of room for hanging clothes on the other sides. Through more pocket doors is the master bath that features a marble double vanity. The oversized shower has both a rainforest shower head above and a free standing shower head on the side. Four large south and east facing windows stream brilliant sunlight throughout the day. The dining area is adjacent to the living area and showcases a spectacular rustic antler chandelier that hangs above an oblong dining table, that easily seats eight people. Custom covered radiators and one of a kind shelving units built with white oak planks and refurnished pipes complete this picture perfect space. The third bedroom is a good size that gets great southern light. This could easily be used as a home office as well. The heart of this magnificent loft is the kitchen and it is purposely positioned to be the central hub that everything revolves around. The kitchen is open into the living and features a beautiful white subway tile finish. The spectacular black honed granite island has a dual purpose. It has more than enough counter space for cooking prep and plating. And it can also be used as a casual dining area, with seating on one side. As to not waste space, the island boasts hidden storage underneath it. Top of the line stainless steel appliances, including a SubZero refrigerator, Viking stove with six burners and a Bosch dishwasher make cooking a pleasure. The generous stainless steel farmhouse sink is both beautiful and functional. All the drawers are self closing and there are plenty of cabinets. This almost 2000 square foot modern loft has white oak plank floors and 11 foot ceilings. All windows are double paned which reduces all outside noise so it is extremely quiet. The apt also has central air conditioning, with temperature control monitors in the rooms. Both short and long term leases are ok. NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
