Property Description for 275 Greenwich Street, 2-E

Large and rarely available renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom with home office (or convertible third bedroom) in Tribeca's full-service Greenwich Court Condominium.

Spanning 1,086 square feet with split bedrooms, a large open living and dining room, and a pass-through kitchen, this home has one of the most gracious layouts in the building. The sizable home office easily converts to an interior third bedroom.

The renovated kitchen is appointed with stainless steel appliances: a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Gallery range stove, and Bosch dishwasher. Other features include abundant maple cabinetry, frosted glass backsplash, custom lighting, and stone floors. A pass-through open to the living and dining room is perfect for entertaining.

The large living and dining room, as well as the second bedroom, face west toward Greenwich Street with tons of light. Across the home, the master bedroom overlooks the building's large courtyard garden, with total tranquility and southeastern light. The master bedroom has three closets and a ensuite marble bathroom with tub and large vanity.

Down the hallway are the home office (convertible third bedroom) and second full bathroom. Two additional closets line the gallery as well as a washer/dryer in its own closet. The home has multi-zone heating and air conditioning.

The Greenwich Court is a well-loved Tribeca condominium encompassing two buildings on Greenwich Street between Chambers and Murray Streets. Each building is full-service, with 24-hour doorperson, live-in resident manager, and other staff. Between Warren and Murray Streets, 275 Greenwich specifically has two separate elevator banks, and its amenities include a roof deck with sweeping views, the serene courtyard garden, bicycle storage, and laundry room.

Located in western Tribeca, the Greenwich Court is surrounded by Washington Market Park, the Hudson River Park, and Rockefeller and Teardrop Parks, as well as all of the world-famous shopping and dining of the neighborhood, including the restaurant row north on Greenwich Street. It is proximate to all transportation, including the Chambers Street 1/2/3 and A/C/E subways, as well as the World Trade Center PATH train a few blocks south.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
