Property Description for 410 West 24th Street, 12-J

These days, MONEY and the VALUE of your investment is a top priority. With NO BOARD APPROVAL and NO FLIP TAX the desirability of this stunning home sets it far above the others.

Eat, Work, Play in your exquisitely renovated One Bedroom in the heart of Chelsea. This London Terrace Towers home offers everything you'll need to get up and running, or relax in the quiet of this south-facing, prewar gem. The owners have created a supremely functional open kitchen outfitted with a Wolfe stove, Liebherr refrigerator, and Bosh dishwasher surrounded by an abundance of storage, including a full pantry. If you're working from home, this center island topped and surrounded by impeccably matched Carrara marble backsplashes, gives you plenty of room to spread out and plug in! You can even dedicate one of the multiple, roomy drawers to your office supplies.

Need more storage? Three roomy closets (two of which are walk-ins) will hold everything you need at hand. There's also more, new storage space in the building as well as bicycle storage for those of you who prefer having your own wheels. If not, there are several Citi Bike stations within a block or two max.

Your bathroom exudes the kind of luxury normally found in newly built homes, but here you'll find all the brand names you look for, surrounded by prewar plaster and concrete walls. The Duravit tub is perfectly sized for a bath or shower and, like the Duravit sink, is outfitted with Moen Fixtures. A patterned marble floor and shower inset is surrounded by subway tiles, a nod to the history of London Terrace Towers original design. The lighted medicine cabinet above the sink and double height cabinet tucked behind the door will give you ample room to stash everything you like for pampering and health.

Custom draperies and shades offer a warm southern glow while the radiators and front door introduce the cool look and feel of the original steel buffed and polished as an icy compliment. The original hardwood doors and oak flooring have been restored to their original beauty, so you'll be living in the perfect marriage of prewar details and modern convenience.

At London Terrace Towers your maintenance includes all utilities as well as use of the half Olympic sized Pool and lush gardens and abundant seating and lounging on the Roof Deck. NO INTERVIEW, NO FLIP TAX How's that for instant savings?? Paradise is a phone call away.

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
