Property Description for 123 Third Ave, 8-C

A modern and voluminous one-bedroom home in a full service condominium in the East Village, just outside of Union Square. Upon entry, one will immediately notice the soaring ceiling height of over ten feet and light pouring in through a unique, rectangular picture window spanning the entire width of the wall and framing open views. An immaculate open and windowed kitchen is equipped with a top-of-the-line appliance package by Miele, ample Caesarstone countertops, attractive gray lacquered cabinetry, and garbage disposal. The generously proportioned living room leaves plenty of space for both living and dining areas. With a handsome built-in dresser with cabinetry above, the spacious bedroom features an additional picture window and a customized walk-in closet. The recently renovated and luxurious bathroom is connected to both the bedroom and living room by cleverly designed pocket doors, and is the home to a rain shower stall enclosed by tempered glass, marble topped vanity with storage including a cabinet and eight drawers, and fixtures by Duravit and Kohler. Wide-plank white oak floors, central AC, and recessed lighting are throughout, and a new Bosch W/D is an added convenience. 123 Third Ave is a boutique luxury condominium with only four units per floor. Built in 2010, amenities include an attended lobby, a serene and beautifully landscaped courtyard with a professional grade Viking grill, fitness center with lush treetop views, business lounge, and extra storage available for purchase. In addition to some of NYC’s hottest restaurants, craft cocktail lounges, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s being only steps away, several modes of transportation are also around the corner, including the L train immediately below and the 4/5/6/N/R/W/Q trains in Union Square, offering both unparalleled lifestyle and convenience. A 421-A tax abatement runs through 2022.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
