Property Description for 812 Carroll Street, PARLOR

This is a rather exceptional two bedroom two bath 1100sqft townhouse floor on one of Park Slopes most sought after tree lined blocks. Carroll Street less than 1.5 blocks from Prospect Park does not get any better if you like the Slope and looking for lots of leafy green trees and impressive looking townhouses with period facades. This is one of my favorite side streets for sure. Ty finding a rental that does not disappoint and is priced rather modestly. I believe this is the exception even in a market where there seems to be some give on price. The most recent renters just moved out and the owner would like to lose less time so is offering a break in the rent. This is a big beautiful rental and its a stunning townhouse ! Your getting a really sharp user friendly chefs gourmet kitchen with plenty of cabinetry and more than enough counterspace. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave and its roomy with a big opening to your generously sized living room. The semi-open layout will work well for many .There are two bathrooms and the main bathroom is exquisite ?.. you may not want to share it with friends :-).Both of the bedrooms are great size and on opposite ends of the apartment. I cannot tell you how much your really going to enjoy making this place your new home.Sorry no floorplan. The renter pays the gas heat and hot water. Owner accepts 1 pet on a case by case basis if not too large. Owner prefers October 1 start date but can be earlier or possibly October 15. The rental will be delivered in pristine condition. Rental commission paid by the renter is 11% of the annual yearly rent.

Park Slope | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boasting beautiful tree-lined streets, brownstones and a range of activities for all age groups, Park Slope is consistently ranked as one of New York’s most desirable neighborhoods. Filled with lush parks and greenery, the neighborhood is also known for its rare combination of excellent public schools, award-winning restaurants, nightlife, small independently owned businesses and community gardens.

Situated at the western slope of Prospect Park, the neighborhood is divided into different sections: North Slope, Center Slope and South Slope. Depending on who you ask, of course, the definitions of where these borders end and begin may vary (is the divide between North and Center deemed Union Street, Garfield Place, 1st Street or 3rd Street? The one between Center and South 6th Street, 9th Street, 11th Street or 15th Street?).

Regardless of what part of the Slope you find yourself on, there’s no shortage of architectural beauty. From row houses to brownstones to mansions, the idyllic setting of the neighborhood is further enhanced by its Romanesque and Renaissance Revival styles. Case in point of this is also two of the area’s most well-known churches, Park Slope United Methodist Church and Saint Augustine Roman Catholic Church.

Revered for its family-friendly appeal, Park Slope is often regarded as one of the best places to raise a family in New York City. That said, it doesn’t mean that parents don’t know how to have a good time... a slew of bars constantly opening in the neighborhood ranging from the high-end cocktail saloon to the dive (well, by Park Slope standards, anyway).
