Property Description for 319 State Street, 2

Introducing 319 State Street #2: This brand new Four Bed / Three and a half Bath home is the first residence to become available for lease at Eight on State, a new boutique development of luxury townhomes available for rent in the heart of Boerum Hill.

The jaw dropping living room gets fantastic Southern Exposure with high ceilings, and the open dining room leads to a bright and spacious kitchen with a beautiful central island. This expansive home has living and entertainment areas spread across five floors and connected by both a personal elevator as well as a striking custom built staircase with wrought iron detailing. The penthouse has a custom built wet bar and leads to not one but TWO private terraces. The four gracious bedrooms span the entire width of the home, and the three and a half baths have been superbly designed and crafted. There is also a finished recreation room which can be used as a media room, play space, office, home classroom, or your own custom designed work out room.

Built from the ground up, Eight on State is a collection of eight two-family townhomes each composed of a four bedroom quadruplex and ground floor one bedroom duplex only minutes from Manhattan. Situated on historic and tree lined State Street around the corner from the A, C & G subway lines, these handsome brick facades nestle perfectly amongst the beautiful neighboring brownstones.

The interior design combines elements of warmth and comfort with organic materials and lush textures, giving the homes a rich sense of character. Residences are complete with stylish Moka wood floors, Italian-made custom cabinetry, Caesarstone Quartz countertops and deluxe stainless steel appliances from Wolf, Bertazzoni Bosch, and Fisher & Paykel. The oversize bathrooms feature frameless glass shower doors, alcove soaking tubs, state-of-the-art medicine cabinets, porcelain tile floors, and mosaic accent walls throughout.

Amenities include access to a doorman for package delivery, personal elevator, in-unit washer and dryer, rooftop terrace and private backyard. With easy access to all major subway lines, and convenient to the fantastic shopping, dining and entertainment of Smith Street, Atlantic Avenue, Barclays Center and Downtown Brooklyn, life at Eight on State will put you in the center of it all in one of Brooklyn's most dynamic, and charming neighborhoods.

Boerum Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boerum Hill is a tiny, quiet, primarily residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are broad tree-lined streets that are filled with elegant three and four-story brownstones and townhouses, mostly built between 1840 and 1870. There is a definite family vibe to the neighborhood, but young professionals are moving in, and with them are coming trendy bars to cater to their desire for some measure of nightlife, without having to linger in Manhattan. These new bars and restaurants are being sandwiched in amongst existing shops on both Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, which are the main commercial areas in Boerum Hill.

Boerum Hill offers a convenient location that is still able to maintain its small-neighborhood feel. Shopkeepers value their customers and remember their regulars. It continues to do what it was designed to do, namely provide small-town living in the very shadow of the big city. Boerum Hill is an easy commute to other parts of the city, making it easy to come home every day to the peace and tranquility of Boerum Hill while commuting to a job anywhere in the city.

The neighborhood is quite walkable and you can take the time to catch up with your neighbors while visiting on their stoops. Shopping on Atlantic Avenue is stress-free with no high pressure. You can meet with friends at any of the many coffee shops and while away pleasant hours in conversation. The dining scene on Smith Street is similarly laid-back. Don’t expect that there will be quite as much to see or do as there is in Manhattan, but there are a decent number of interesting bars and restaurants providing a measure of nightlife. The trade-off is worth it, as Boerum Hill provides a quiet, peaceful place to live and raise a family.
