Private and virtual Showings/video tours available. Open houses by appointment only, one group at a time. Welcome to 37 Weirfield Street, an outstanding gut-renovated two-family townhouse featuring stunning finishes and abundant sunlight at the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. Configured as an owner's duplex and upstairs rental flat, each beautifully reimagined home features wide-plank white oak flooring, tall ceilings with recessed lighting, and new oversized windows and split A/C units. In the two-bedroom, two-bathroom owner's unit, enjoy an open-plan living room and a stunning open kitchen where an oak-trimmed waterfall peninsula joins chic two-tone cabinetry. High-end stainless steel appliances — including a gas range, dishwasher and built-in microwave — make cooking and cleanup a breeze. In the hallway, a long row of closets conceals storage and laundry on the way to two large, rear-facing bedrooms with reach-in closets. The full bathroom is beautifully finished in gleaming floor-to-ceiling subway tile, a glassed-in soaking tub/rain shower and a sleek modern vanity. Below, create the family room, home gym and office space of your dreams in the garden floor's sprawling 51-foot-long rec room, featuring a second full bathroom and another washer-dryer. Outside, the large patio provides a wonderful space for al fresco dining and entertaining. The top-floor three-bedroom, one-bathroom rental is equally well-appointed and features a high-end open kitchen, in-unit washer-dryer and tons of great closet space. A brand-new facade and charming forecourt complete this fantastic Brooklyn townhouse. Located on a quiet tree-lined residential street, perfectly positioned where Bedford-Stuyvesant meets Bushwick, this exceptional home is surrounded by amazing dining, nightlife and art galleries. Transportation options abound with the J train right outside your door, plus Z, A/C and L trains and excellent bus service nearby.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
