Property Description for 364 Saint Marks Ave, 3-D

Expertly redesigned and poetically styled by owner Olga Naiman and her esteemed firm Aparat Interior Design, this premier loft residence at 364 Saint Marks Avenue has been prominently featured in multiple publications including Vogue and Domino Magazine.

Currently customized with an expansive, approximately 1,070 square foot two-bedroom layout, this original loft provides a powerful combination of 10" high ceilings and massive south-facing windows that allow a dramatic sight line of Brooklyn's most desirable architectural landscape. Discerning home chefs will relish the view while operating in the fully equipped open kitchen with deep Caesarstone topped peninsula, five-piece stainless appliance package, and separate walk-in pantry. Seven closets in all, plus additional private storage space, conquer all of the homeowner's storage needs with the greatest of ease.

The king- sized master bedroom is nothing short of an urban sanctuary that will spoil even the most fashionable professional with an impressive wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling closet, outfitted with an elaborate Elfa organization system. Between the master and the well-appointed second bedroom, is the sizeable bathroom, reminiscent of a luxurious European bathhouse with double length vanity and deep soaking tub.

Satisfying the marketplace's need for both fine form and function, 364 Saint Marks Avenue offers the ultimate value. Deeded parking, Nest Thermostat, in-unit w/d, elevator, private storage, dedicated bike area, common roof deck with Manhattan skyline view, and 25-year tax abatement through 2033 with monthly taxes of $30 and maintenance of only $535. Alongside Prospect Park, Prospect Heights connects five of Brooklyn's most historic neighborhoods with a bountiful scene of restaurants, cafes, shopping, and cultural amenities, namely BAM, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Museum, and the Grand Army Plaza farmer's market. Immediate proximity to the 2,3,4,5,B,D,Q,R,A,C trains and the LIRR.

Crown Heights | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Originally known as Crown Hill by the Lenape Indians that lived there, Crown Heights has evolved into a diverse neighborhood, occupied primarily by Hasidic Jews and one of the largest Caribbean populations to be found anywhere outside of the West Indies.

Head over to Nostrand Avenue, one of the main West Indian commercial areas in the neighborhood, which is lined with stores that have been in those exact same places for generations, providing their goods and services to area residents. Kingston Avenue has similar commercial activities that support the Jewish community, and Franklin Avenue shows the most signs of change and gentrification, with an ever-expanding mix of yoga studios, coffee shops, and organic grocery stores that serve the influx of young professionals. No matter which of these areas you visit, you will find an interesting mix of businesses that you wouldn’t normally picture as existing side-by-side. It is all part of the cultural diversity of Crown Heights.

The neighborhood is bisected, from east to west, by Eastern Parkway, which is a beautiful, 3-mile-long boulevard lined with mature trees. This leafy oasis was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of Central Park, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D. C.

You will find a mix of low-rise apartment buildings, large middle-class elevator buildings, brownstones, and some luxury buildings. Century-old architecture stands next to modern residential developments in a visually interesting mix of styles, much as the diversity of the residents exists. People who would not normally meet and mix are forging new pathways to cultural understanding by working, living, and playing together in the same neighborhood.
