Truly one of the grandest buildings in New York, the Prasada, is one of three buildings that established Central Park West as an avenue of great prestige and is a wonderful example of Beaux-Arts architecture. Commissioned by the King of Spain, designed by Charles W. Romeyn & Henry R. Wynne, 50 Central Park West was built by Franklin & Samuel Haines beginning in 1905 and completed in 1907.
