Property Description for 225 East 57th Street, 6-F

NEW-TO-THE-MARKET, MAINTENANCE INCLUDES UTILITIES!
COULD BE THREE BEDROOM, PRICED TO SELL TODAY !

SUCCESS TODAY STARTS WITH BEING THE FIRST ONE IN. It's time to make your appointment now! It's easy to spot the winners! You will find a large two bedroom, but wait...it gets even better! This flexible floor plan allows for a third bedroom /office or dining room. If you use this flex space as a separate room, you can still enjoy a dining area outside of the grand living room never having to sacrifice a distinct and separate dining area. GET THREE BEDROOMS for the price of two! More good news... there are two master bedrooms and one is H-U-G-E! You'll love the two renovated bathrooms, one en suite, that includes both shower and big soaking tub to enjoy at the end of a stressful day. Your updated kitchen is open, making it easy to enjoy your friends and loved ones while entertaining. The black granite counters, modern lighting, Italian slate style floors, glass tile back splash, side by side refrigerator; and double sink, as well as contemporary lighting, are all here in this fully equipped kitchen. Just bring your favorite recipes and enjoy.

Even more...cross the threshold onto exquisite bamboo floors and you'll be swept into your new extra wide and airy living room that is filled with South light, air and quiet. The wall of windows further expands your commodious room as it seems to s - t - r - e- t - c - h the room as it pours sunshine into the space. Don't you agree that there can never be too many closets? The current owners intelligently added a wall of closets to the original floor plan. You'll love your quiet oasis in the "heart of midtown" close to transportation, uptown or downtown, and across town too. You'll be so close to fine restaurants, across the street from Whole Foods, and the top cultural venues including Carnegie Hall.

I am sure you also believe that your home begins the moment you enter the lobby. The tastefully done entrance with soaring ceilings creates an aura of the grandness of Sutton Place. Even as you exit the elevator, you'll surely appreciate the wider than average well lit hallways that are in mint condition.

Simply stated, it's all here. Your new full service building offers a full time doorman, live-in super, bike room and garage.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
