Property Description for 200 East 32nd Street, 22-B

SPACIOUS CONDO WITH SUNRISE TO SUNSET VIEWS! East, South, & West views, 10- foot ceilings, floor-ceiling windows, and a gracious floor plan are just a few of the distinctive features in this exceptional three-bedroom home. Others include two private balconies, and dramatic wall-to-wall bay windows. There is even a windowed-kitchen, which incidentally has been beautifully renovated. Thoughtfully chosen appliances include a large capacity washer and dryer. Throughout this attractive home the floors have been professionally refinished, including the honed marble baths. This unit is the largest offered in the condominium, and the only one designed with 3-full baths. The original floor plan has been slightly altered to reposition the formal dining room, and incorporate a library. The third bath is not utilized, but easily restored as a full or half-bath. The Future Condominium has long been one of Murray Hill's most desirable luxury residences. White glove amenities include a health club, parking garage (with direct building access), bicycle room, children's playroom, private storage, additional laundry facility, and a spectacular roof deck on the 36th floor. A beautifully landscaped plaza borders the building's glass-walled lobby. Inside, the lobby and hallways have been tastefully renovated to compliment the building's award-winning architectural design. The lobby staff includes a full-time doorman and concierge. The Future is also pet friendly (for owners only). Located in the heart of Murray Hill among the area's best shopping and dining establishments, residents are only steps from all major eastside and cross-town public transportation. Supporting the area's attraction for luxury buyers, Murray Hill has fast become the home to some of Manhattan's best new restaurants and service establishments, including the recently opened 5-star Gansevoort Park Hotel. For an early opportunity to see this special apartment, along with its full-service amenities, please call me to schedule a private showing.

Kips Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

If you take a walk through Kips Bay, which is loosely defined as the area between 23rd street and 34th street and the East River to almost Lexington, you’ll quickly learn it's a hodgepodge of sorts and not as well defined as other neighborhoods in New York City. Some New Yorkers say Kips Bay has an identity crisis because 1st, 2nd, and 3rd avenues are distinctly different from one another as you traverse them. Despite the perceived lack of neighborhood vibe there are others that appreciate its affordability and convenience.

First Avenue is dominated by hospitals and hospital buildings such as NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital to name a few. Second Avenue is a mosaic of convenience stores, fast food joints and nondescript brick buildings. Third Avenue is saturated with small bars and gastropubs and the twenty somethings that patronize them.

No judgement against Kips Bay here. It’s a great neighborhood that is just as much a part of New York City as any other neighborhood. Kips Bay It’s bordered by Murray Hill to the North, Stuyvesant Town and Gramercy Park to the South, and Rose Hill to the West. The neighborhood is partly defined by newer high-rise apartments, brick rowhouses, and former tenement buildings.
