Property Description for 641 Fifth Ave, 25-A

Huge and sun-drenched two-bedroom home with sweeping park and city views at the world-class Olympic Tower condominium.

Perched high above Fifth Avenue with panoramic views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline is apartment 25A, a huge 2-bedroom, 2-and-a-half bathroom residence spanning almost 1,800 square feet. A semi-private vestibule provides an elegant entrance to this home. Upon entry, you are taken in by the vastness of this space, enveloped in floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. The distinct entry hall flows seamlessly into the corner entertaining space, graciously divided into living and dining areas with open exposures North and West and spanning 32 feet. The windowed eat-in-kitchen is accessed from both the entry hall and the dining area and perfectly appointed with generous storage space and a washer and dryer. To the East of the entertaining space of the apartment is the sleeping wing offering a grand Master bedroom suite with 2 walk-in closets, a dressing area and a 5 fixture en-suite bathroom, and a second large bedroom with 3 closets and an en-suite bathroom as well.

The prestigious Olympic Tower is one of the city's most important and desired condominium buildings. Designed by world-renowned architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill as commissioned by Aristotle Onassis, Olympic Tower was immediately regarded as the Fifth Avenue address to have by the global nec-plus-ultra, and it commands the same loyalty today. Located on what is arguably the best corner of Midtown Manhattan, it is situated immediately opposite landmarks such as St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center, at the center of Manhattan's finest shopping, theatre, concerts, museums and dining and only blocks from Central Park. It offers its residents the highest and most discreet level of service 24/7, provided by an impeccably-trained staff. There are full-time doormen, concierges and elevator attendants, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness room and valet parking. Regrettably, pets are not permitted.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
