Property Description for 47 Reeve Place, 3

Are you looking for an outdoor oasis of solitude and a home that has all the necessities of city living on your doorstep? If you like the sound of that, we may have just the place for you. Located at the rear of 47 Reeve Pl in a peaceful, leafy section of beautiful Windsor Terrace you'll find this beautiful one-bedroom apartment, offering everything you need right now. With your own private corner of the shared garden located immediately off your bedroom, you will wake each day to peaceful sounds and soft, filtered light emanating from it. You may even be tempted to take time for some quiet contemplation and perhaps a morning brew here before tackling the day. Your en-suite bathroom is stylishly decorated with Kohler hardware, classic subway tiles, and brushed nickel fixtures, with a hint of color supplied by the vibrant Moroccan floor tiles. The kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, and the spacious living/dining area form the central heart of your home, attracting abundant light throughout the day via the new energy-efficient windows by Marvin. High ceilings (10') add to the sense of space, and you even have enough room to tuck a desk in here. And did we mention the walk-in closet? With Prospect Park at the end of your block, you'll be wondering how you've ever lived without it. Take a stroll, ride a bike, or perhaps pack a picnic and a good book. Heading in the other direction you'll be pleased by how convenient a location you've come to call home. Not only will you find the subway here when you need it, but this gorgeous corner village is populated by local favorite eateries such as Della and Le Paddock, and you can pick up groceries, coffee, get a facial, practice your martial arts skills and pick up a nice bottle of red (or white) as you pass/drive through. Once you settle in to Windsor Terrace, you may never leave. Self-managed building with low monthly maintenance, your own basement storage, common storage for bikes, free laundry and Wi-Fi too. Dogs upon approval, cats allowed. In-person showings: We care about your safety! Please take the time to 'walk through' our 360 Virtual Tour posted on our website, then reach out to us, the seller’s agents, to ask any questions you may have about the property prior to scheduling an in-person viewing. Once we have your pre-approval letter (or proof of funds) we will set a time to meet, and kindly ask for 48hrs notice for all showing requests. We genuinely feel this approach will limit potential exposure!

Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
