Property Description for 500 West 30th Street, 7-H

Incredibly unique and underprice 1 Bed 1 Bath with a massive 7th-floor terrace overlooking the Hudson River, Hudson Yards, and the Highline. You will be the second to live in this apartment as I have been here since the building opened. The unit has top of the line appliances, an in-unit washer-dryer, 3 very large closets, tons of random storage space and the building is one of the most incredible in NYC. The bedroom can easily fit a queen-size bed, 2-night tables, and a full dresser and has 2 full size double wide and deep closets. The living room can fit a large couch, media unit, full-size dining table, standing desk, bar cart, and more. Where the standing desk is located, the tenants previously had bar stools for the kitchen counter. Abington house has a full gym in the basement, a massive rooftop overlooking all of Manhattan, a grill terrace with multiple BBQs, a 25M lap pool, a bowling alley, a full-size basketball court, a steam room, a sauna, jacuzzi, full spa all of which are open. When you don't want to venture outside the apartment enjoy your stunning personal patio (one of only 5 in the building) staring out at the Hudson River, the westside heliport, the Highline, all of Hudson yards, and the empire state building. During Covid, the current tenant has turned this into their home office, and they host friends and family as it's a safe and incredibly unique space. The building also has a partnership with Hudson Yards where you have our own personal Covid Testing Center, access to events throughout all of HY, weekly free offers at restaurants such as Milos and the Tavern, the building really just does an incredible job taking care of its tenants (and the staff here is above and beyond). Lease assignment is until March 31. Tenant will be able to renew lease with management, assuming good credit and adequate income.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
