Property Description for 314 East 41st Street, 304-B

Be the first to enjoy a brand new and impeccably renovated one bedroom home at Hardwicke Hall. Apartment 304B is as special and unique as it gets; the elegant floor plan features two work from home stations (one in the bedroom and the other in the living room), a designated dining area, a lighted reading nook nested under landmarked windows, a sophisticated underlit bar and a cinema-style projector screen with a Sonos sound system throughout. Not a detail was missed in the gorgeously renovated kitchen. Highlights include Calcutta gold quartz countertops with white tile backsplash, a deep farmhouse sink, porcelain tile flooring, Frigidaire Professional appliances, a wine rack, recessed dimmable lighting and plenty of storage. Equally impressive is the bathroom, exquisitely upgraded with white subway tiles and brand new fixtures, finished with gold accents. The bedroom features two built in deep closets and a wall of closets whilst allowing room for a Queen-sized bed and a desk. Very quiet with no street noise. Hardwicke Hall is a full-service building with a full-time doorman, super, laundry room and a fitness centre in the complex. Just two and a half blocks to Grand Central and close proximity to the ferry and the Midtown Tunnel – excellent location for easy access out of the city. A sanctuary in the city.

Tudor City | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Compared to other New York City neighborhoods Tudor City is a bit different. For starters, it's not very big. And technically it's not a neighborhood, it's more along the lines of a residential enclave of Tudor style buildings and parks. Even with the large neon sign boldly exclaiming the enclave's name, Tudor CIty is still a little tricky to find.

Located on the southern edge of Turtle Bay, Tudor City borders Murray Hill and lies on a low cliff which is just east of Second Avenue between 40th and 43rd Street. It overlooks the grounds of the United Nations along First Avenue and the East River beyond.

Tudor City is considered one of the world’s first skyscraper apartment complexes. This was considered a remarkable feat in 1929. Early marketing material, aimed at the middle class, described the development as well-planned, well-built, and well-priced housing. Developer Fred F. Finch designed Tudor City to keep middle class residents in Manhattan as many were fleeing the city for the suburbs.
