Prepare yourself to be wowed! This dramatic 4,000SF double-corner loft at the historic Dietz Lantern Building will take your breath away, with its grand proportions, soaring ceilings and unobstructed city and river views from 22 windows. A gracious entrance foyer leads to one of Downtown's most magnificent living spaces: a 50-foot wide expanse bathed in natural light from North/South/West exposures and featuring 12-foot barrel vaulted ceilings, wide-plank floors, a wood-burning fireplace and far-reaching views from endless double-glazed windows.

The enormous state-of-the-art chef's kitchen provides the ideal gathering spot for family and friends, and features a massive center-island with wrap-around storage, abundant custom cabinetry, a gorgeous Moroccan hand-glazed tiled backsplash, and top-of-the-line Miele, Thermador, Viking and Sub-Zero appliances. Nearby, a separate windowed pantry provides more storage and houses an extra refrigerator, microwave and a 50-bottle temperature-controlled wine fridge.

Beyond the entertaining space, a wide hallway lined with custom built-in bookshelves and floor-to-ceiling storage closets leads to the private wing of this incredible home. There, you'll find three enormous light-filled bedrooms, each with large custom fitted closets and tasteful en-suite bathrooms. The sun-drenched Master Bedroom suite is a serene sanctuary that offers a large walk-in closet and an exquisite sky-lit bathroom paved in imported antique limestone, with a custom double soapstone trough sink, oversized walk-in shower and custom Jaclo fittings throughout. A floating staircase off the bedroom leads up to a lovely, 300SF south-facing private terrace, ideal for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying moments of quiet relaxation. Additional amenities include multi-zoned central air conditioning, a separate laundry room with vented LG washer-dryer, copious storage closets, a SONOS sound system with in-ceiling speakers in every room and custom Lutron lighting on dimmers throughout.

All this at the iconic Dietz Lantern Building, Tribeca's most historic and sought-after full-service condominium, featuring a 24-hour doorman, live-in superintendent, newly renovated lobby, bike storage and on-site parking garage. A private deeded parking space is available as an additional purchase. And of course, there's the prime location, putting you right in the heart of Tribeca's North Historic district with its quaint cobblestone streets, beautifully preserved 19th century architecture, great restaurants, shopping, highly rated schools and the Hudson Waterfront Park right at your doorstep. A truly extraordinary offering not to be missed!

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
