Property Description for 20 Pine Street, 1517

The Collection by Armani Casa at 20 Pine Street provides a luxurious, relaxing getaway in the heart of the bustling Financial District. Unit 1517 is outfitted with the same eye for sophistication and detail that has made Armani once of the most iconic fashion and design houses of the century.

The unit has high beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, and recessed custom lighting in addition to an abundance of natural light. The living room integrates seamlessly into a modern kitchen which features appliances from high-end brands like Miele, Sub-Zero, and Fisher & Paykal. The bathroom is a true haven, outfitted in handsome stone and exotic woods and luxuries like a recessed rain shower, and a deep soaking bathtub.

20 PINE STREET IS EXQUISITELY DESIGNED BY ARMANI CASA. The building offers white glove service, including a 24-hr doorman, and hotel style amenities such as a library lounge and an open-air Terrace Lounge on the 25th floor, where residents can unwind and enjoy the garden, reflecting pool, and spectacular views. Residents also enjoy exclusive access to The Collection Club fitness center whose amenities include a 60’ lap pool, a state-of-the-art Turkish Hamman steam room, fitness center, health bar, and golf simulator. For the little ones, there is a playroom as well. Low common charges make for very favorable carrying costs, for either home ownership or investment

20 Pine is located at the intersection of Pine and Nassau Streets in downtown’s historic Financial District, close to the New York Stock Exchange, the Seaport, and the World Trade Center as well as abundant outdoor dining and retail. The nearby new Fulton Center has most all subway lines with 4/5/2/3/A/C/E/J/M trains.

Armani has preserved and restored the historic origins of this building, located in one of New York’s oldest neighborhoods. The condominium building has restored the exterior Egyptian motif that includes 17 sphinx gargoyles, and was once the home of Guaranty Trust Company, whose bank vaults have been restored and can be seen in the lower level of the building.

Financial District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Financial District (FiDi) today is a bit of a hybrid neighborhood, as the residential component continues to grow in an area that has been historically dominated by the financial and insurance industries. The residential experiment, which began more than two decades ago, continues to evolve in an area with a large concentration of older, large office buildings. Developers have taken to these aged buildings and have re-positioned them as residential properties. In turn, the public spaces, services and retail establishments needed for a thriving residential neighborhood have followed making this an important destination for city residents.

Since 2000, the residential population of the Financial District has nearly tripled in size from about 23,000 residents to more than 60,000 inhabitants. Many of the residential pioneers to FiDi were people attracted to the lower rents in the neighborhood, particularly the post-collegiate crowd. While the millennials still maintain a large footprint here, there are plenty of families that now consider the Wall Street area home.

Many of those that live in the Financial District walk to work. If you reside here and need to commute elsewhere, the transportation from here is about as good as it gets. Express trains can take you to Midtown, either east or west, in twenty minutes. Brooklyn is but a single subway stop away. There are also ferries across to Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
