Designed and built to exceed the expectations of the modern buyer, 381 Jefferson Avenue fuses the most essential elements of the classic Brooklyn Brownstone with neo architectural insights to create a desirable residence. This 2-family, 3,400 ft², 5-bed, 6-bath townhouse stands out from its competition with its 50 feet depth, smart home capabilities, grand rooms with high ceilings, and four separate outdoor spaces. In today's world, home needs to serve many purposes and this one satisfies every need. Every story of this home has a compelling narrative for you to revel in. The first story is a 1-bed, 2-bath duplex unit with a patio that was designed to evoke every warm homey feelings, command competitive rents, and/or provide stellar space for expanded living. The second story is the entry to the magnificent master unit. The floor-through grand room, with an open floorplan, is perfect for sprawling and entertaining. The chef’s kitchen is open and airy with immaculate waterfall stone counters, elegant cabinetry, and premium appliances. From the parlor level, you can access an amazing landscaped garden that receives amazing sunlight. Reliable train lines [A, C, L.I.R.R.], multiple bus lines, and thriving business districts are also nearby. This may not be where your story starts, but you'll love for it to continue here. Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
