Property Description for 459 Quincy Street, 4-B

IMMEDIATE OCCUPANCY

Bedford-Stuyvesant named one of the TOP FIVE coolest neighborhoods in the WORLD as per TimeOut 10/06/2020.

459 Quincy Street, situated in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn, is a ten-unit (10 Unit) boutique condominium featuring a collection of one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences (2BR), most of which feature private outdoor spaces.

Rising four stories, this brand-new construction offers well-proportioned homes and distinct finishes, including 7'' wide-planked walnut or white oak flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and Lofted ceiling heights in select apartments. The kitchens feature a matte white subway tile backsplash, Casa Blanca or Mara Blanca quartz countertops and a stainless-steel appliance package headlined by Bosch and Fisher & Paykal. Custom lacquered cabinetry rounds out the design - a minimalist design feature yet striking. The baths offer radiant heat floors, neutral color palates, unique hexagon-shaped tiled floors and Duravit fixtures delivering a warm and inviting space.

Apartment 4B is a 1-bedroom (1BR) one bath (1BA) complete with a private balcony overlooking the rear garden, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing an abundance of natural sunlight to radiate throughout. This top-floor home clears the townhouses to the north, allowing for a partial skyline view of Manhattan. The Mitsubishi ducted, electric heating and cooling systems contain increased BTU's in order to provide faster heating and cooling for the larger residences. All homes come with Washer-Dryer (WD) hookups. Finally, 459 Quincy Street also boasts building amenities including a rooftop terrace & shared backyard, and pets are welcome.

Located three blocks from Herbert Von King Park, some of the area favorites include The Coyote Cafe, Toad Style, The Bush Doctor Juice Bar, The Wilky, Bed-Stuy Fish Fry and Bed-Vyne Brew. Nearby subway lines include Bedford-Nostrand G and the Kingston-Throop C.

The complete terms are in an offering plan available from the Sponsor (File No: CD18-0344).

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
