Property Description for 25 Murray Street, PH-10H

A natural light lover and outdoor space enthusiast's dream: welcome to this sun-blasted, corner-unit two bedroom, two bathroom duplex located in prime Tribeca. Upon entering, you walk directly into an immediately bright foyer, thanks to the 14 windows lining the dining and living space radiating light from both the South and the West. Making your way into the great room, you're first greeted with the marble, open kitchen featuring Kenya Black counters, generously sized appliances and an abundance of storage to stow away the air fryer, bread maker, kombucha starter, and the others remnants from the culinary fads you participated in during 2020. The well-designed island offers abundant communal space that your guests will want to gather around due to its organic flow into the living and dining space. Situated in the sun soaked corner of the great room, you'll find space large enough to comfortably fit an 8 person dining table. The reminder of the great room is ideal for entertaining and general leisure, so rest assured, you'll be hosting the most spectacular dinner and cocktail parties, all with endless sunset backdrops. The Pièce de résistance of the apartment is the breathtaking staircase, a true piece of functional art, that elegantly separates the palatial primary bedroom from the first floor great room, affording it an extra sense of privacy. This master bedroom checks every wishlist box: soaring ceilings, sky light, ample storage, en-suite bathroom, and a home office built-in ever so handsomely. However, to further sweeten the deal, through the master bedroom you arrive at your private roof deck, spacious enough to hold a dozen of your dearest friends who you're willing to share your unobstructed World Trade Center views with as you watch the sunset over the westside skyline. The main level bedroom is ideally separated from the public space and has a generous closet and a built in home-office, making this ideal for either a second bedroom or a sanctuary for work-from-home. This bedroom gets beautiful southern light throughout the day and can easily accommodate a king-sized bed. The Jack-and-Jill second bathroom functions as an en-suite bath for this second bedroom as well as an elegant powder room for guests. Note that the bedrooms are thoughtfully located on the separate floors of the apartment and both have their own bathroom, allowing for *truly* peaceful living. The foyer has a deep closet, for all your jackets, shoes, suitcases, and items you're always trying to stowaway. To the left of that closet, you'll find your in-unit washer and dryer. The floor-plan is being redrawn to reflect these smart alteration the owners made. The apartment also comes with a private, deeded storage room located just down the hallway on the same floor. 25 Murray was built in 1930 and converted to a charming pre-war yet modern luxury condo in 2005. Located in the heart of Tribeca, the building features a grand double-height lobby, newly renovated hallways, 24-hour doorman, landscaped roof deck with BBQ, billiards lounge, sauna, fitness center, bicycle room and playroom. 25 Murray is located a stone's throw from Tribeca’s best offerings, including a 3 minute walk to Whole Foods and the E, 2, 3, R, and W trains all within minutes walking distance as well. Pets are allowed.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
