Upon entering apartment 10D, a generous two bedroom/two bathroom home, you are welcomed by the warming southern sunlight which pours in from the 30+ foot expanse of floor-to-ceiling windows of the open living space. The nearly sixty-foot outdoor stunningly landscaped terrace is perched above the Metropolitan Pavilion- a historical landmark that cannot be built upon, providing you a breathtaking and protected view of the Lower Manhattan skyline. The feeling of privacy and peaceful quietness can be felt on this outdoor paradise, away from the avenues, situated right in the middle of a quaint Chelsea block.

The interior of this stunning loft-like sun filled home features, 9.5ft ceilings, Santos mahogany hardwood floors, in-unit washer and dryer, a grand-scale entertaining room, an abundance of closets and storage space, five-fixture ensuite master baths, and open eat-in kitchens with breakfast bar. The open kitchen is fitted with bright white lacquered cabinets, Viking gas range, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops, bar seating for three, and room for large scale dining- a perfectly refreshing layout for hosting friends and family.

Centrally located on the picturesque, tree-lined block of West 19th Street with easy access to the east and west side, uptown and downtown as well as unbeatable walking access to shopping, retail, grocery stores including Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Chelsea market, Eataly, West Side Market, Fairway, Union Square farmers market, home, and restaurants. The PATH train and two express and local subway lines are just steps away.

In addition to a full-time doorman, attended lobby, 24-hour concierge, and a live-in superintendent, the building is also equipped with a children's playroom, health club, nursery, screening/media room, interior courtyard garden, bicycle storage, private storage included, and a furnished and beautifully-landscaped cabana-style roof deck with a fireplace. This is a pet-friendly condominium. Up to 90% financing, renting, live/work, and pied-a-terres allowed.

Built in 2005 by the Clarett Group and designed by esteemed firm, GKV Architects, Chelsea House at 130 West 19th Street is one of the city's premier luxury condominiums. Set in a concrete frame and sheathed in glass, the building's exterior features a slight bend in the glass faade, creating an unusual and distinctive ripple down the front and giving the structure a sinuous rhythmic quality.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
