Property Description for 360 West 22nd Street, 7-K

This spacious one bedroom apartment features a sensational chef's kitchen, a large living room and bedroom, and picture perfect tree top views of historic Chelsea with the Empire State Building and Hudson Yards in the backdrop. You will find that this apartment feels like home the moment you step inside. The kitchen is fit for a true chef with it's open layout, granite countertops, top of the line stainless steel appliances, an externally vented range, custom wood cabinets, Bosch dishwasher, and generous storage space. The bedroom, living room, and bathroom are all separated by floor to ceiling tempered glass sliding panels that create an easy flow from room to room and provide for an optimal use of space throughout the apartment. The bedroom is very large, with a beautifully built in wooden desk positioned below double wide windows allowing for a sophisticated home office experience. The bathroom also stands out- tastefully designed with gray stone tile and a deep soaking tub. London Townhouse is a pristinely maintained, full service building with a doorman and a generous laundry room in the basement. At 17 floors, it is also one of the tallest buildings in the area, making the 360 degree view from the roof deck rare and spectacular! Chelsea is arguably the most convenient and desirable location in all of Manhattan and London Townhouse is located right in the heart of it. There are really no compromises when it comes to this location. The High Line is just one block to the west where you can enjoy one of Manhattan’s most innovative public spaces. It is also very near to Chelsea Market, Hudson River Park, Chelsea Piers, the Meat Packing District, the Whitney Museum, and a number of world renowned art galleries. There are more restaurants and cafes than you can frequent in any given week. To highlight just a few, La Bergamote, Omai, and Le Grainne are neighborhood favorites. Gristedes is just around the corner as your nearest grocery store with Whole Foods and Trader Joe's nearby as well. The location also provides easy access to the A, C, E and 1 trains as well as the Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit, and PATH trains.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
