A true masterpiece of an artist loft plus an unlimited potential of this rare mixed use property await in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn. This unbelievable corner property consists of 2 huge and separate buildings on 1 lot, both with private entrances.

The building on Willoughby is an enormous 50? x 35?, renovated, true artist loft with 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms in addition to an equally large basement used as a workshop. Grand proportion and bohemian charms exude these spaces. Walk in through the private Willoughby Ave entrance into a spacious great room that features massive height, custom carved, timber wood frames, and hardwood floors. The kitchen is flooded with natural light through two huge windows made of glass blocks, accentuated with exposed brick and custom wooden cabinetry. A hallway leads you to 3 bedrooms, all featuring high ceilings and sky lights. Across, you will find one full bathroom and one half-bathroom, with beautiful white tiles. A music recording studio connects you again with the living room area.

Adjacent to the loft?s living room, a separate main bedroom suite is unveiled. With a full bathroom complete with full conveniences, this custom suite can be accessed through an additional third private entrance and is the epitome of self-reliance and master work of by-gone wood carvings and ornamentation. Having been completely customized and refined with local timber and wood finishes, this space will leave you awe-struck.

The building facing Central Avenue is an investor?s dream with 4 income generating units comprised of 3 residential apartments and 1 commercial space. There is a full basement for this building as well. Each unit is ready to be rented or keep the current tenants as they are. The ground-level commercial space is right on the high traffic Central Avenue and around the corner from the M train and the bustle of Myrtle Avenue or just a few blocks away from the Morgan Ave and Jefferson Street L Train. Both buildings will be delivered vacant.

There is a total of 5,500 sqft for 2 buildings plus 3,000 sqft in the basement used for workshop and storage for a total 8,500 sqft of combined spaces.

And if that?s not enough, literally, there is still plenty of unused FAR, enough to make any architect?s dreams come true. This space truly redefines ?uniqueness? to deliver truly an astounding piece of a magnificent bohemian loft building plus the additional investment of an income generating 4 unit building. Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
