Property Description for 67 Liberty Street, 17

August 1 occupancy. Are you searching for a home that offers peace and privacy? Located just off Broadway on quiet Liberty Street, close enough to the transport and shopping hubs, but tucked away from the bustle, this fantastic boutique condominium building offers a “Tribeca” experience in a smaller package. Video security and a secure storage room ensure you don’t miss out on deliveries. The lobby is subtle elegance: smart and understated. Step out of the elevator and into your dedicated foyer, with a coat closet and room for a hall table. The south-facing living room is dominated by the floor-to-ceiling glass balcony doors: two side windows create a feeling of openness and light. The ceilings are over 9’ high, and a light-grey stained, wide board oak flooring, runs throughout the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. The massive kitchen dominates the middle of the apartment and truly offers everything a dedicated home chef might desire: stainless Miele refrigerator, and dishwasher, Caesar stone counter-tops, white mocha mahogany cabinetry, professional-style stainless range, tile backsplash, and under-counter lighting. Off the kitchen is a large laundry room with an LG washer/dryer, a stone floor, and loads of storage space. No need to leave the apartment to get rid of trash: you have your own chute right in the kitchen! The roomy bathroom features a marble floor +vanity top, natural artisan-style Travertine stone walls in a warm neutral color, and a luxurious Kohler rain shower. Your bedroom faces north and clears the rooftops for an open city view. Step onto your private balcony and greet the day! Double closets offer ample storage. The building has a common roof deck and a virtual doorman, enabling deliveries into a secure package room. Reach out today to plan a visit!

Financial District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Financial District (FiDi) today is a bit of a hybrid neighborhood, as the residential component continues to grow in an area that has been historically dominated by the financial and insurance industries. The residential experiment, which began more than two decades ago, continues to evolve in an area with a large concentration of older, large office buildings. Developers have taken to these aged buildings and have re-positioned them as residential properties. In turn, the public spaces, services and retail establishments needed for a thriving residential neighborhood have followed making this an important destination for city residents.

Since 2000, the residential population of the Financial District has nearly tripled in size from about 23,000 residents to more than 60,000 inhabitants. Many of the residential pioneers to FiDi were people attracted to the lower rents in the neighborhood, particularly the post-collegiate crowd. While the millennials still maintain a large footprint here, there are plenty of families that now consider the Wall Street area home.

Many of those that live in the Financial District walk to work. If you reside here and need to commute elsewhere, the transportation from here is about as good as it gets. Express trains can take you to Midtown, either east or west, in twenty minutes. Brooklyn is but a single subway stop away. There are also ferries across to Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
