NO FEE

Expertly crafted by acclaimed Sarah Magness Design, this open plan 2-bedroom loft at 71 Nassau Street, 10C is located in a beautiful Beaux-Arts building on a historic street in Lower Manhattan.

Filled with natural light and stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is a perfect space to entertain and sneak away to the private spaces for quiet reflection. Upon entering the apartment you are immediately struck with the expanse of five oversized south-facing windows that drench the entire apartment in the warm sun, open sky, and city views.

A large open kitchen boasts high-end stainless steel appliances including a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, 5-burner gas Fulgar Milano stovetop, and Marvel wine refrigerator. An enormous kitchen island was rebuilt using Carrera marble and Rohl fixtures, while ample storage is provided with beautiful floor-to-ceiling oak cabinets.

The open living/dining spans almost 28 feet and includes an original Carnegie steel beam column which rises to the high ceilings, imparting a touch of the buildings industrial past, while wide solid white oak floors lend warmth throughout. Attention to detail is evident wherever you look with handcrafted radiator covers, bookshelves, and cabinets all completed by master carpenters.

Both bedrooms enjoy City windows for complete privacy, while the master bedroom has a custom built-out walk-in closet and a well-appointed bathroom with Calcatta marble and Watermark fixtures.

Built-in speakers are installed throughout the home and can be easily controlled through a smart app. Ample storage is provided throughout with a thoughtfully designed pantry in the entry. Additional amenities include a full-size Bosch Washer/Dryer in the unit and a separate 93 square foot windowed storage room on the floor.

There is always a friendly greeting from the 24-hour doorman at the Beaux-Arts Croft building. The building includes a state-of-the-art fitness center and fantastic views from the roof deck with rain shower to cool off with on hot summer days. Be in the heart of the newly revitalized downtown New York. Walk to most major subway lines, the hopping South Street Seaport, Eataly, Beekman Hotel with Tom Colicchio and Keith McNally, Westfield Mall, Pier A, Four Seasons Hotel and many more.

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
