Property Description for 123 Third Ave, 3-D

Residence 3D in the premier, full-service 123 Third Condominium on the corner of 14th Street & 3rd Avenue, is a modern one-bedroom, one-bathroom home located moments from Union Square (with a new in-unit washer/dryer and multi-zone central air & heat). Perched above pin-drop-quiet gardens to the south with verdant treetop views, this sanctuary provides respite from the hustle & bustle of the city. NO PETS PLEASE.

The interior with lofty 10'2" ceilings is bathed in natural light through expansive (wall-to-wall) triple-layer sound-insulated picture windows (fitted with treatments). An efficient, open plan offers flexibility for dining, living and home office areas.

The spacious kitchen boasts sleek lacquered grey cabinetry designed by Poliform Italy and is appointed with a full suite of Miele appliances (seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry including a vented hood), InSinkErator waste disposal drain, Dornbracht fixtures, white Caesarstone counters and an abundance of storage.

A space-saving pocket door off the living area opens to a bright bedroom also in the lush treetops with a row of closets and unique corner exposures. The contemporary bathroom, adjacent to the living/dining areas, is clad in floor-to-ceiling honed Carrera marble and is outfitted with a brand new quartz vanity, Duravit bathtub with bench and shower, backlit medicine cabinet, and Dornbracht polished chrome fixtures.

Other highlights of this home include a brand new LG washer & dryer, central HVAC controlled through a Nest thermostat, and new 7" wide plank floors.

Situated at the nexus of Union Square, Greenwich Village, East Village and Gramercy, 123 Third Avenue is a boutique, LEED-certified, new construction condominium with only one to four residences per floor. Amenities include a 24/7 doorman, windowed fitness center, cold storage, two elevators, and a multimedia lounge that opens to a landscaped and furnished courtyard below with a professional-grade Viking BBQ grill and screening area (which residents can reserve for gatherings).

Moments away are convenient access to transportation (4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, and L subway lines all within one block), food shopping (across the street from Trader Joe’s, minutes to Whole Foods and Westside Market), parks (Union Square & Stuyvesant Square) and some of New York City’s finest restaurants.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
