Property Description for 75 Eldert Street, 2

This sunny apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a walk-up building. It's only two flights in total and you get the entire 3rd floor. There are two bedrooms facing the back of the building with windows and closets. There is a master bedroom with a master bathroom. The other side of the apartment are two more rooms facing the street. One room is the 3rd bedroom and next to it is a smaller room about 70 sq. ft. to be used as a small gym, an office, a storage space or a childrens play room. There is no closet in this room but there is a window with plenty of sunlight. The three bedrooms are approximately 13x9 and 17x10 and 13x11. Towards the center of the apartment is the other bathroom so there is never a long wait to use the bathroom. Both bathrooms have tiles from floor to ceiling and these are large full size bathrooms. The kitchen has super tall ceilings and a skylight letting in all the sunlight which adorns the hardwood flooring throughout the apartment. The kitchen has like new stainless steel appliances, a stove and an overhead microwave with range hood, a dishwasher and a refrigerator. Lots of counter space and lots of cabinetry. The heating and aircondition is central air with a thermostat in your unit so you control when you want heat or ac. Tenants pay gas and electricity. You will need 1 month rent, 1 month security and 1 month broker fee to get this apartment. Close to transportation and shopping and laundry. Applications are accepted online.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
