Property Description for 300 East 33rd Street, 4-F

This extra large alcove studio with LOW monthly maintenance is located in the I.M.Pei designed Kip's Bay Towers community on the most convenient block of Kip's Bay. The building sits up on a hill so this quiet 4th floor unit has an elevation closer to an 8th floor unit with bright North facing skyline views. The extra large windows spanning the entire wall in the main room give this studio TONS of natural light. This spacious unit boasts a truly impressive amount of storage with two hallways of CUSTOM CALIFORNIA CLOSETS and your own separate dressing area! The kitchen (with a dishwasher!) is separate from the main room which creates a separation of space and allows for tons of extra storage space. All appliances are in good working condition and the Air Conditioner/Heating unit is BRAND NEW. It gets better...the building has many great amenities including a PRIVATE OUTDOOR PARK! It is one of the largest private resident parks in Manhattan featuring a garden, lush landscaping, a playground, basketball court, ping-pong table, and plenty of space to lounge, picnic, or outdoor entertain, it's like having your own backyard! Don't miss this opportunity to own in one of the most sought after condo communities in the area.

Kip's Bay Towers has low monthly maintenance, 24-hour doorman services, live-in resident manager, live-in super, full staff of handymen, on-site management office, newly renovated lobby, laundry room, bike room, fitness center, concierge services, and a one of the largest private resident parks in the city. Fairway and Trader Joe's within a block, the M15 across the street, the 6 train within 3 blocks, the East River ferry nearby on 34th, and two Citibike stations outside...you are steps away from anywhere in the city!

Cats are allowed. Sorry, no dogs.

Kips Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

If you take a walk through Kips Bay, which is loosely defined as the area between 23rd street and 34th street and the East River to almost Lexington, you’ll quickly learn it's a hodgepodge of sorts and not as well defined as other neighborhoods in New York City. Some New Yorkers say Kips Bay has an identity crisis because 1st, 2nd, and 3rd avenues are distinctly different from one another as you traverse them. Despite the perceived lack of neighborhood vibe there are others that appreciate its affordability and convenience.

First Avenue is dominated by hospitals and hospital buildings such as NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital to name a few. Second Avenue is a mosaic of convenience stores, fast food joints and nondescript brick buildings. Third Avenue is saturated with small bars and gastropubs and the twenty somethings that patronize them.

No judgement against Kips Bay here. It’s a great neighborhood that is just as much a part of New York City as any other neighborhood. Kips Bay It’s bordered by Murray Hill to the North, Stuyvesant Town and Gramercy Park to the South, and Rose Hill to the West. The neighborhood is partly defined by newer high-rise apartments, brick rowhouses, and former tenement buildings.
