Property Description for 107 Madison Street, 1-B

Welcome to 107 Madison Street, nestled quietly on a tree-lined street in one of the most favorable pockets of Bedford-Stuyvesant just a block and a half from the border of Clinton Hill. This newly constructed condo development is sure to awe and is comprised of 10 well-positioned and tastefully curated one-bedroom (1BR) and two-bedroom (2BR) simplex and duplex residences, more than half featuring private outdoor space(s).

Residence 1B is a generously proportioned one-bedroom (1BR), one-and-a-half bathroom (1.5BA) duplex with a large recreation space spanning approximately 1,489 SQFT and 12FT high ceilings, offering a large private yard. Upon entry into this scrupulously designed space a prominent sense of tranquility blankets the home and is delicately accented by natural light welcomed in through large floor-to-ceiling windows. 12FT-hight ceilings contribute to an overall theme of considerable proportion and allow natural light to cascade on the white oak floors.

A favorable introduction to the kitchen is made directly passed the foyer. A neutral color palette paired with contrasting textures and styles works harmoniously to successfully execute a contemporary design approach. Upper wooden cabinetry enveloped by off-white, glossy lower cabinetry and additional paneling provides intentional depth and a dual-toned aesthetic while a muted, horizontal grid tile runs effortlessly along the backsplash for a clean look. The kitchen comes equipped with all new stainless-steel appliances including a Bosch stove and microwave, Liebherr refrigerator, and Blomberg dishwasher.

The bedroom is scaled with optimal dimension and is outfitted with two tall closets and floor-to-ceiling windows. Approaching the bathroom, you will find two more closets in the hallway as well as the W/D closet. The bathroom is also outfitted with contrasting neutral tones and contemporary in style. Dark-grey stone, heated, hexagonal tiles lay seamlessly across the floor and pair nicely with the off-white grid tiles laying vertically along the perimeter walls. The bathroom comes equipped with a deep soaking tub, glass shower partition, silver Riobel shower fixtures, custom white vanity, and Duravit toilet. This garden level duplex is completed with a large private yard, well-rounding this residence and setting it apartment from the rest.

107 Madison Street is located only two blocks from Clinton Hill and is home to many well-known neighborhood favorites such as but not limited to Baron's, Black Swan, Corner Grind, Golda, Calaca, Playground Coffee Shop, Greenberg's Bagels, Dynaco, Home Frite, Stonefruit, Fancy Nancy, Locanda Vini e Olii, Izzy Rose, Tarachi, Peaches, Fan-Fan Doughnuts, Blink Fitness, Swell Dive, YMCA, & Madame Poupon. Access to the train includes the Franklin C train only approximately 4 short blocks away, and the G train at Bedford-Nostrand. This is not an offering. The complete terms are in an offering plan available from the Sponsor (File No: CD21-0039).

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
