Property Description for 6 Renaissance Court, 16-B

Feast your eyes on this rarely available, gorgeous 2-bedroom condo on Bushwick’s Renaissance Court. Enter into the spacious living room and the warm natural light invited in through the large windows immediately greets you. Keep them open on a warm day and the breeze will just flow through your home. The electric fireplace perfectly rounds the space off and sets the scene for a cozy place to rest on a snowy winter’s day. Pride in ownership and meticulous attention to detail further add to the ambiance, as the home features gorgeous crown moldings, decorative beams, and gleaming hardwood floors- creating an inviting space for you to come home to every day.

Moving on into the open kitchen you will find gorgeous white granite countertops, shaker cabinets with lots of storage space, tiled backsplash, and plenty of room for breakfast-bar seating. In the hallway, you will find three closets, as well as a laundry room with a brand new, large stackable washer/dryer with an 8 year warranty. The full bathroom also features a tubbed shower & tiled floors.

Just off the left of the hallway, you will find the spacious primary bedroom, with southeast facing windows that will let the morning light just flood in. This bedroom also features a walk-in closet with a built-in storage system and a half bathroom. The second bedroom could easily work as a spare bedroom, home office, or nursery, and features another built-in closet system. Other great features include newly installed wall units, a security system, and a transferrable lifetime warranty on the windows and front door. Low common charges and taxes just put the cherry on top!

Set back as one of the last homes in the cul-de-sac, 16 Renaissance Court is the perfect escape from the bustle of the city as its location within the development makes for a quiet, calm and relaxing environment. You get the entire feel of townhouse living without the pesky maintenance that comes with it. It could not be in a better location either! Nearby public transportation is available at the Myrtle Ave J/M/Z and the Morgan L isn’t too far! For those who drive, there is dedicated parking available! Nearby Bushwick mainstays include Birdy’s, Hart Bar, Indika House, Little Mo, & so much more. A Fridge No More packing station is not far, so your groceries can be delivered in 15 minutes or less! Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
