Property Description for 239 East 10th Street, GARDEN-A

Elegant Townhouse Style Apartment In The Heart Of The East Village! Nestled in the heart of the East Village, this beautifully crafted triplex creates the perfect sanctuary for everything from rest and relaxation to hosting friends and family. This is truly a one-of-a-kind three-story triplex apartment with not one but TWO outdoor spaces – a large basement garden and a ground-level terrace – making this apartment a perfect fit for those who want to enjoy some fresh air and sunlight in the East Village. As if things couldn’t get any better, both outdoor areas have nighttime lighting to create a romantic European Alfresco environment. The triplex is situated at the rear of the building and provides a quiet, tranquil oasis in the bustling, vibrant area. The expansive apartment feels more like a house, easily fitting a sizeable dining table for dinner parties, an open style design for indoor gatherings, and a plentiful counter space. If you look deeper, this triplex is full of exciting surprises, from the beautiful berry vine that grows outside in the spring/summer to the upstairs jet tub that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day at the office. There is ample space throughout the apartment that can be used for arts and crafts, a home office, children’s play areas, or even a home gym! But that’s not all; with substantial storage and closet space throughout, you won’t have to worry about finding spaces to store your seasonal items or belongings. The apartment is designed with a convenient layout that gives it a welcoming atmosphere. This deluxe apartment features an immaculately fitted kitchen with a brand new fridge and dishwasher, walk-in closets, newly installed washer/dryer, hardwood floors, recessed LED ceiling lights, and a separate entrance for each floor. It has been outfitted with state-of-the-art blackout curtains for maximum privacy and sleep quality which complement the quiet apartment so that you can have the perfect night’s sleep. Additionally, the upstairs master bedroom has a jacuzzi bathtub, and all bathrooms have recently been renovated with brand new modern style vanities. The building itself features a large front gate which makes it feel secure and welcoming for residents. It is situated in one of the most desirable areas of the city, with a convenient location that is close to NYU, Tompkins Square Park, some of the best restaurants and dining areas (Yes, Tompkins Square Bagels sits at the top of that list!), and has easy access to all forms of transportation. Don’t wait to check out this picturesque apartment that will give you one of the best experiences NYC has to offer. Pets Allowed.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
