Property Description for 150 Nassau Street, 6-G

Available November 15th!

Modern beauty meets prewar elegance in this luxurious one-bedroom apartment at the stunning American Tract Society Building in FiDi! The circa 1895-built Beaux-Arts jewel standing 23 stories at 150 Nassau Street was converted to a condominium in 2002 and offers an unparalleled downtown lifestyle. Residence 6G reflects the thoughtful attention to detail and offers 700 square feet of impeccably-designed living space. Airy 10'5" ceilings, dark 5" plank espresso-stained oak wood floors, solid core doors, dimmable lighting and modern finishes enhance the elegance. Oversized windows invite in generous north/northeastern light and even capture a lovely view of City Hall Park. Storage is exceptional, comprised of custom California Closets throughout, a step-in closet and built-in shelving in the living room, plus additional storage under the kitchen island.

Relax and entertain in the spacious living/dining room, and work remotely in the home office area with a desk and cabinetry. Adjoining is a sleek open kitchen for the cook, finely renovated with custom white cabinet, a Viscon White granite island and matching table, and premium appliances including a Sub-Zero refrigerator and Miele dishwasher. The bedroom is a bright and peaceful place to unwind. Off the foyer sits a lovely full bathroom clad in Carrara marble, with heated floors, Restoration Hardware vanity and fixtures, brass hardware, and a large linen closet.

The architecturally distinctive 150 Nassau is a stately elevator building with a doorman, fitness room, laundry on every floor, parking garage, and awe-inspiring roof deck overlooking the city skyline, bridges and river. The vibrant location is across from City Hall and park, moments from Tribeca and super-convenient, accessing numerous subway lines as well as the World Trade Center and Fulton transit hubs. Also nearby is the fabulous Eataly, the Oculus, Brookfield Place, the new South Street Seaport, in addition to Battery and Hudson River Parks. Pet friendly.

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
