Property Description for 1431 Bedford Ave, 4-A

Welcome to beautiful 1431 Bedford Avenue!

4A is a bright, three-bedroom, one bath, floor through apartment spanning just over 1,000 sqft! Upon entry, you'll be drawn to the sunlit, western facing living area complete with a dining alcove fit for a 6-person table. The windowed, galley kitchen, with four seat breakfast bar, sits right off the living space and features all stainless steel appliances that sit sleekly in the floor to ceiling cabinet space.

Seamlessly crafted built in closets and storage line all parts of this thoughtful space, including the primary bedroom and separate office nook. As you work your way past the kitchen and through the hall, you will find the first bedroom, that is great for a nursery, workout room, art studio or second office. Beyond that you will come to the primary bedroom with two access points, one right off the hall, and one that leads right into your sleek office space. Just to your left you will find the third bedroom, sized to suit a queen size bed plus other furniture.

The apartment was renovated prior to its current occupancy. The owners contributed to the updates by adding new windows in the entire apartment, as well as split system heating/cooling throughout. There is not a part of this apartment that hasn't been well thought out and primed to be the perfect deal for anyone looking for a little more room.

To round out of the tangible quality and care that this condo has received, it comes with a J51 tax abatement through 2027 and low common charges, that keep monthly costs under $850! Less than $1 psf!

Location is prime with the Franklin and Nostrand Subway stops just a few minutes south. And within a few blocks is Prospect Park and all it has to offer, including the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. All of the dining, grocery and shopping needs are right outside your front door with the best Brooklyn has to offer.

Look no further than the most recent sale in this building to know what a deal this is. This will move quick.

Crown Heights | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Originally known as Crown Hill by the Lenape Indians that lived there, Crown Heights has evolved into a diverse neighborhood, occupied primarily by Hasidic Jews and one of the largest Caribbean populations to be found anywhere outside of the West Indies.

Head over to Nostrand Avenue, one of the main West Indian commercial areas in the neighborhood, which is lined with stores that have been in those exact same places for generations, providing their goods and services to area residents. Kingston Avenue has similar commercial activities that support the Jewish community, and Franklin Avenue shows the most signs of change and gentrification, with an ever-expanding mix of yoga studios, coffee shops, and organic grocery stores that serve the influx of young professionals. No matter which of these areas you visit, you will find an interesting mix of businesses that you wouldn’t normally picture as existing side-by-side. It is all part of the cultural diversity of Crown Heights.

The neighborhood is bisected, from east to west, by Eastern Parkway, which is a beautiful, 3-mile-long boulevard lined with mature trees. This leafy oasis was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of Central Park, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D. C.

You will find a mix of low-rise apartment buildings, large middle-class elevator buildings, brownstones, and some luxury buildings. Century-old architecture stands next to modern residential developments in a visually interesting mix of styles, much as the diversity of the residents exists. People who would not normally meet and mix are forging new pathways to cultural understanding by working, living, and playing together in the same neighborhood.
