Property Description for 124 Hudson Street, 3-D

Entering 124 Hudson 3D speaks volumes to the sellers' magnificent sense of design and taste. European elegance is the feeling one gets stepping into this expansive home. Stunning white and grey octagon inlaid marble flooring is found in the generous foyer.

Located in central TriBeCa, 124 Hudson at North Moore is an A+ Luxury building. The loft has been exquisitely renovated throughout. The level of finish, attention to detail and custom cabinetry is outstanding; the highest quality materials and appliances chosen. In the custom, open kitchen you will find a La Cornue 5 burner French Top Plaque stove, a Miele tower with combo steam oven and Miele wall oven with warming drawer, and a whole house water filtration system, full-sized refrigerator, “knock to open” dishwasher, wine cooler and a lovely, classic, oversized marble island with undermount sink.

A beautiful, Breccia marble mantle surrounds the living room's central wood-burning fireplace and 10 foot+ ceilings and soothing gray, wide-plank chevron floors add warmth to this lovely, modern home with a nod to old world sensibilities.

Enter the bedrooms via bespoke, hidden panel doors and custom, lacquered millwork in this grand Parisian style home. There is a tremendous amount of thoughtfully designed built-in closets and cabinetry, pull out pantries and drawers galore.

Each bathroom is a work of art complete with Toto Washlet commodes, and the master bath features a separate shower and tub with a double vanity. The unique originality of both bathrooms must be seen for yourself, as a description does not do them justice.

This is unabashedly TriBeCa, with European style woven throughout; the best of both worlds. Private outdoor space completes the ultimate experience in luxury living.

There are currently two Capital Assessments in place: $1,438.89 ending 6/30/22; and $23.97 with no current end date.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
