Beyond that you'll find the sharp designer kitchen that will have any cooking enthusiast beaming. Whether you're entertaining a large gathering, or keeping it simple, you will not lack for the proper prep space or storage. Custom cabinetry and shelving lines every wall and a massive quartz island is the centerpiece to culinary playground. As you make your way to the front of the second floor, you'll find two more generously proportioned bedrooms capped by soaring ceilings throughout and plenty of windows. An additional guest bathroom is situated on that floor, renovated to perfection.

Be it a morning coffee or an afternoon drink with friends, this roof deck allows you to immerse yourself into the exciting neighborhood of Bushwick from above.

Edgy and increasingly hip, Bushwick is an evolving, industrial area marked by imaginative street art and converted warehouses that are home to artist studios and artisanal coffee shops. Dining options span the globe, and avant-garde nightlife thrives in clubs like performance space House of Yes and quirky bars with vintage, mismatched furnishings. A few pocket parks are shaded by mature trees and have plenty of playgrounds.

Located around the corner from the Central Avenue M subway stop, you can be into Manhattan in less than 20 minutes! Within a few short blocks enjoy local Bushwick hotspots such as the Little Skips coffee shop, lazy Suzie, another great coffee shop or Roberta Pizza, which started the culinary scene of Bushwick. Whether it's a bear at KCBC Beer, or a movie night accompanied with food at the famous Syndicated or be it a late-night party at the House of Yes, Bushwick is sure to please those who look for that authentic Brooklyn feel and still want to be a few short stops from the city.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
