Property Description for 107 Madison Street, 2-B

Welcome home to unit 2B in a newly developed condominium in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant. This beautifully appointed unit has a generous open layout with roughly 9' ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that takes in all the elements of natural light to brightens up the home. A private balcony runs adjacent the living space for a seamless flow that is great for entertaining, reading a good book, or having your favorite meal. The open kitchen has a modern contemporary design in a dual tone off-white gloss lacquer with a textured hard wood element. Fully equipped with a Liebherr refrigerator, Blomberg dishwasher, and Bosch microwave and stove. Unobstructed views in the bedroom gives you a sense of calm in the waking hours. The open layout gives you ample room for a queen size bed along with a dresser, work desk and bed stands. A large closet is also at your disposal. Bathroom comes equipped with a soaking tub with rain shower, heated floors, and large vanity. 107 Madison is a new addition to the ever growing neighborhood in Bedford-Stuyvesant with a bustling restaurant and bar scene. Some of my favorites is Madame Poupon, Joloff, and Black Swan. Train access includes the Franklin C train and the G train at Bedford-Nostrand Stop by your new home today.

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
